    mat the end of the day KD and Kyrie stay in Brooklyn and compete for the Finals. The moves that the Nets made don’t indicate any other option. They will call KD’s bluff, just as Dr. Buss called Kobe’s bluff.

    They lost two wings.

    OPJ was good for them last year.

    Payton was a difference maker, too.

    Klay, DG, and Steph all a year older. They better hope Kuminga takes a leap and Wiseman is healthy.

    He would be the one guy I would bring back, yes.....

    And if we were able to keep Nunn, as well as nab both Irving and Harris in the RW trade (or even Curry)....then our shooting would not be a problem.

    James in 2021-22: 2.9 makes, 36% (even better percentage year before)
    Irving last two seasons (83 games): 3.1 makes, 41%
    Harris: 2.8 makes last 3 seasons, career 44% shooter
    Nunn in 2020-21: 2.2 makes, 38%
    Anthony last 3 seasons: 2.0 makes, 39%

    If Reaves and AD could become respectable there, outside shooting should no longer be a problem....

    I like Melo and wanted him back, but with the current construct of the roster I'm not sure we can afford a wing who is such a liability on defense.

    I'm not saying they won't be fine.

    But they did lose two key pieces.

    Either way, they can always make a trade, too. They have assets.

    Gp was hurt in the playoffs and Porter was hurt too so they got the most out of them...... also gp not worth 27 mill. And Porter best deal he got was Toronto says it all

    Payton was hurt until the Finals but was a vital piece to them winning against Boston and was great in the regular season.

    How much did Porter get? He was also an excellent value piece for them last year, too.
