KD can't play with Lebron. He needs a title without the equal star on it.

agree with that, and would do it, even though it would be the biggest sports media meltdown in history.

    This is Rob's redemption arc

do the Kyrie deal, and you have a chance to correct the colossal Westbrook mistake.

Don’t like seeing other teams interested, can only hurt our leverage.

Anyone have any idea of what Dallas could offer for Kyrie?

I think Hardaway and Dinwiddie would work (not sure if there is any bad blood there with Dinwiddie). They do both have long term contracts, but since Brooklyn owes so many of their first rounders to Houston, they’ll likely want to stay competitive rather than full blown tanking.

Hardaway and Dinwiddie are definitely more helpful to contribute to winning than Russ or a flat out salary dump of Kyrie would be

It all depends on where Kyrie wants to play though. He's on an expiring deal, Brooklyn is going to have to take whatever they can get, from the team he wants to play for.

irving can end all leverage if he says he only wants to go one place. this guy just sat out half a season on principle. you think he's going to report and be happy and effective if he doesn't want to be somewhere?

lots of small things will happen still, i think.

i don't think any of this affects a lot of teams' mle/mini mle pursuits all that much.

i wonder if we'd offer--instead of picks--to take joe harris in a kyrie deal.

he's on the books for two more years after this at 18 per and may not be part of a post kd/kyrie plan. that could clear some cash off this year's cap, too, which might make it easier to take ayton in a s&t if that's a route they're interested in.

It gets funky now, I'm sure KD and Kyrie have plotted some kind of course. If Durant gets moved, Irving can play it out in Brooklyn, and then follow him wherever went.

Does this means that Simmons is on the block too?

much tougher call than most would say, imo. if AD just returns to form, he should have 3-4 more years of two-way all nba play. does kd have that? if you don't like AD's health, don't look up kd's recent health.

    i'd pass, honestly.

if you add kyrie and russ to it, i'm listening a bit more, simply because it moves us on from russ, which was a nasty chapter.

btw, in FA news, utah cut hernangomez. maybe he wants to make more movies and will play for the vet min?
