Meh..straight to the point.I didn't see Lebron and Anthony playing in 80 games like Westbrook did, when did that happen? If that would have been the case, nobody would be complaining about Russ. The thing is Caruso, KCP and Kuz disappeared against Phoenix didn't they? Great defense and all that included, matter of fact Phoenix scored better than the league average in that series too. The role players look great around great players, remove the great players and well, you quickly understand why those guys are considered role players. Did KCP, Kuz and Trez make Washington any better? We finished in the play in last season. Frankly if James and Davis hadn't played in the first 30 or so games together, we wouldn't have made the play in game. It's James and Davis bro, it's not "fit", those two guys make whatever "fit" possible in the 1st place, because that " fit" revolves around what those two are capable of doing. Again I thought of Westbrook as a compliment to Lebron and AD, you seem to keep measuring him as some kind of standin in case one went down. That makes sense if the team was constructed with that in mind. We constructed the team around Lebron's needs, but see Lebron needs peak AD too. Injuries are a mug..I'm just looking at the bottom line here. It doesn't matter who we had on the roster. The only success we've enjoyed occurred when James and Davis played long stretches together. Chip season and the 1st half of last season. That is what it really is.

To keep it a buck. The Lakers have pretty much sucked with only Lebron, from day one. Sucked even worse when it's only AD. 4 years in with multiple combinations of players involved. It's not just Lebron or AD, it's them playing together. Two great talents true, but an even better duo.

Why in the **** do you think that the Lakers and the entire NBA is aware of it are trying so hard to get rid of the turd of a player that WB has become, if they didn’t think last year was a disaster with him not being what they thought they were getting and are LOATHE to do it all over again, if all we need are an engaged and healthy LBJ and AD. You can’t have it both ways. You trumpeted they fired Vogel so must have thought he did a poor job. OK he’s gone and they’re still desperate to get rid of the guy.

Of course not. No one is drinking Slick’s cool aid to want him even at his monster expiring now. Maybe at the deadline when rebuilds are inevitable.

Thats fine, it would hard cap us.

Though probably means they aren’t interested in a opt-in trade either…

If we're getting Kyrie its through an opt-in and three-team trade or the taxpayer MLE. Sign and trade is not and was never a realistic option.

The Lakers aren't trying really trying to get rid of Westbrook, if we were.he would have been moved. We did want to get rid of Kuz and Kcp..we did it too. Yeah Vogel deserved his walking papers and I haven't seen any desperation at all being shown in moving Westbrook .That's your opinion, on the flipside. You can't acknowledge that having a healthy big two is the key, but turn around and say that's irrelevant if Russ is on the team. How in the hell do you KNOW that? You are now low rating what a healthy Lebron and AD brings the equation.

It doesn't look like anyone wants Hayward's 30 million a year deal either. Yet you seem to think that's a great idea.

To be rid of him if we got other pieces that were decent to good “needed” depth to the team which we lost trading for this clown … hell yes! How disingenuous of you to claim that Lakers aren’t trying that hard to move him or he’d be gone already. You know damn well they don’t want to have to give up 1st round picks in the future or take unattractive long term salary back, per whatever their plans for the future are …. just to move his sorry a**. You know all of this.

No..we disagree from jump street, on the impact of Russ compared to that of a Healthy James/Davis in the the 1st place. Depth..we traded 3 players, one Vogel didn't want to play anyway. We signed enough to compensate for KCP/Kuz...they just didn't work out. You can fault Rob for that part to a degree. Nunn never played at all, nobody anticipated that. Jordan, Baze,Duke,Trevor...there were other folks available at the minimum ..we chose them. Miss me all day with the narrative that somehow Kcp and Kuz were the championship pieces we needed. You keep looking for stuff, instead of what's right in your face. AD and Lebron played in 21 games this season. It was a wrap regardless, ie..last years team was the best roster of Lebron's time here IMO..on paper at least...yet they still sucked all the way to the play in game, and out in the first round. Tell you this...if we lucked into Kyrie and acquired all this depth for Westbrook. We ain't gonna win s*** if James and Davis play in 30 games or less either.
