I honestly would say f*** it and propose AD+Westbrook for KD+Kyrie.

if Brooklyn gets AD they could save some face in this mess and rebuild around him

 

I dismissed it as being ridiculous at first but I do think there's a small chance (maybe like 10%) Kyrie signs with us for the taxpayer midlevel with a promise from Rob that he'll be made whole next season when LeBron's contract is up (and we can re-sign him with Bird rights I think).

The most likely scenario has to be the opt-in and three-way trade. Is Brooklyn willing to take back Hayward/Rozier or Hayward/Oubre/Plumlee + our 2027 and 2029 picks? Rozier/Hayward/Harris/Durant/Simmons is actually a pretty interesting lineup that could compete in the East if Durant decides to stay. Or maybe Brooklyn also adds a pick or two and they can get Brogdon/Turner back. Brogdon/Harris/Simmons/Durant/Turner could be strong enough for Brooklyn to sign off as well.

I do think there is an opt-in and three-way trade out there we can get done, but its not going to be easy. Seems like a straight sign and trade isn't an option and that would hard cap us anyway.

 

He aint given him 30 million for Space Jam 3, hell top line actors don't get that for a role in a real blockbuster and we are talking about SpaceJam for crying out loud
