I agree. I think the Kyrie and Beal rumors are pipe basically or leverage ploy but if they drive up our position to trade Russ then more power to them. I love Beal but it just doesn’t seem possible or it would cost so much as to leave us totally depleted.

stan outweighs cam by like 35lbs. and reddish has never been close to kuz/kcp. had reddish played here already, he'd been run out of town on a rail.

don't get me wrong, i'm fine adding reddish for nothing, just not trading THT for him. or nunn, unless we're convinced he's not playing.

i don't think indy was ever going to deal with us anyway, so i've never taken those ideas seriously. not sure why everyone wants to pony up for brogdon with his recent injury issues, either. be curious to see how much of this is indy posturing.

This would be the ideal trade, we get a lot of servicable players to fill up the roster. Rozier and Washington would be the best gets but I still think Charlotte would want to get off Hayward's contract most though.

Also a big HELL no to Kyrie... you can make a long list of pros and cons between him and Westbrook but bottomline is you're just repearting last season again.

Yes, Stan has a good base. Big legs, big frame.

Austin also was switch into bigger defenders and held his own at various points and didn't at various points.

Irrespective of that, slot him where you want. He might look better playing next to players that have the gravity of an AD/LBJ.

And who isn't run out of town? There are Lakers fans who want to run LBJ and AD our of town and rebuild. A large contingent, lol

Anyway, I like THT and Nunn, and of it nets me two wings, I'm good.

Either way, whatever. I just want this draft to start. I'm starving for something Lakers related to materialize positively. Last year sucked.

i think the draft is going to be wild, trade-wise. hopefully, we're involved in some way.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I think I would be fine with us filling the rest of our roster (minus the spot for the MLE player) with undrafted rookies 6'6 or taller. Because my thinking is that if you're going to be giving out vet minimum contracts, you might as well just sign someone who, yes, doesn't have experience, but you know will be young and can handle the grind of an 82 game season, not complain about their role, and will play their butt off to stay in the league.

Also, I think they would be cheaper than the vet minimum contract, probably either partially or non-guaranteed too.

i think balance is the right way to go. we overdid it with vets last year, but you can't field a full roster of inexperienced guys, even if you have lebron.

Sticking to what we already have.
Tucker,Nunn, Reaves and Johnson, (Gabriel is a bit more of a project in progress). We have also have our MLE, adding another young 5, and a couple of Vet mins, that are better than min talent like Monk and Melo this season? That's not some kind of scrub laden team at all. There are several guys out there that could come in, and have a similar season as Monk and Melo. If we landed a decent 3/4, 4/5 and a traditional rim protecting 5. That's a pretty balanced team without trading anybody...yet.

Yeah that is for sure a fake report. So, the Pacers supposedly rejected 54 million in incoming salary for 21 million in outgoing salary as if they even could.

I love this time of year and hate this time of year.

Agreed. The start of free agency and watching the Woj and Sham bombs is the best. Unless it's news like Caruso to Chicago which still angers me to no end.
