atlanta's a great match because young has the mentality but not the ability. he'd take the leadership role and simmons can do his thing (which is basically a super-charged draymond green, imo--and that's valuable).

this is why i don't want anything to do with kyrie. insane talent. also insane in the more traditional sense.

lol, i agree that steph curry doesn't operate like that. but lebron's very own words indicate that he does indeed call shots. he just likes to pretend like he didn't when they fail. btw, i believe that durant doesn't call shots like lebron. he likes to be consulted; he will orchestrate signings with his pals, but he doesn't call up sean marks with trade proposals. again, lebron basically said he did these things, so we don't really need to speculate. it just backfired in epic fashion, so he backed away from it.

News flash, it isn't a mental block, it is a block, just somewhere else.

Simmons’s and Irving’s “heads” together during an entire season …. LOL what could go wrong? Those comments coming out of the Nets FO meeting with Ben and Rich Paul and those latest comments from Irving about his role now includes being involved with “managing” the team after last year talking about being one of the coaches …….

I think if we bring this crew back, but add Rondo and Green, we should be pretty solid all the way around. Sure the gym will smell like muscle ointment, but what can you do?

Didn't Magic say that one of the reasons that he was stepping down, was to be able to work with young guys like Ben Simmons? Hmmm

Magic? I can’t even watch his new series based on all the damage he’s done in recent years.
This is coming from a fan who fell in love with basketball BECAUSE of Earvin.

I hear you, man. Magic is my GOAT, my childhood hero, and I'm completely disgusted with him right now. Fortunately I can still enjoy winning time but I don't begrudge you for not being able to look past it.

Oh, I’m watching “Winning Time,” but not the new series about him on Apple TV.

we'll fire everyone we can (except those that got us into this mess)!

does rambis's contract expire? lol, and once again the parallel between rambis and this person in my organization haunt me--when your contract is up but the only person with input on its renewal is your bff.

    Gotta save a buck.

I bet Rambis has a lifetime contract with a no- fire clause or Jeanie agreed that only Kurt has authority to fire himself. ... not entirely joking.

This season was all Judy and Frank’s fault.
In a world where up is down and down is up, insanity reigns!!!!

this is why i'm ok not having space in 2023. just won't be a lot of real game-changers available.

i do have my eyes on 2024 when KAT and booker are both FAs, though. teaming up in la with AD (or even without) might be a neat thing for them. and i don't trust paul's knees to hold out THAT long or minny to build much more on what they're doing.

KAT is a loser. Wouldn't want him in LA. He's really that type of guy with beta mentality that flexes on the outside and then fails in the biggest moments. Just this year, he combined 11 shot attempts in two games against Dallas. Guess what, they lost. In the game 2 after they steal the 1st game and Luka is out, he attempts 7 and they are blown out. Game after, back home, he attempts 4. Can't happen
Booker is my dream, have his jersey. And Phoenix may be in a limbo in a couple of years

That's also why we need to trade Russ. He cannot play next year. We cannot have another season like this one and look like a dumpster fire. Top players don't need that and have other options. We need to stay relevant enough to lure those guys.

But I also don't want to manage the franchise aiming a FA. That didn't went well for us a few years ago. We need to remain competitive WHILE managing contracts looking at the big names.

everyone's saying utah needs to blow it up...charlotte would have to add two 1sts, of course.

i don't like this one as much:

again, dallas throws in draft capital.

I'm not excited about any free agency big fish until we get our house in order. We were burned on that dream year after year when Kobe retired (Alrdidge, Melo, DD, etc). I think we'll find some guys not taking meeting just like they did then if we are still anywhere near this dysfunctional.

As long as Rambii are in power, I'd rather play it out with a 40 year old Bron.
