Can you be our new GM and will you tell LeBron to F off when he wants to trade for an ill fitting player? If so, you’re hired. Of course Bron will get you fired when you tell him to go to hell.

I think I’m good with that, I don’t like the idea of the Rockets screwing us over. Wall hasn’t even played, he could be damaged goods, him for Russ straight up or for a 2nd seems fair to me. He wouldn’t hurt their tanking so it’s win-win. I think we’re going to need that first round pick to trade him this summer, hopefully as a huge expiring for a few useful role plauers.

I’m glad they did. I never understood why they felt like they could demand extras for a guy who isn’t even playing.

Houston thought they can fleece us…only Washington can fleece us because they helped us before when we needed to dump Bonga and Vagner:Laugh:

You can when it's a drastically different roster and a cancerous locker room, based off reports. Personnel matters. That would be like saying, Kobe won with Phil, Shaq, Fish, and Horry. He should be able to win a championship with Chucky Atkins, Kwame, and Tierre Brown. They're all Lakers.

Modest hope for the season is a guy like Gary Harris gets bought out: Lakers can offer him a starting spot and a chance to sign in big minutes.

Not going win a title but 1-2 Gary Harris types and this team would look much better and actually be a playoff caliber team (slides Bradley to the bench, less time for Russ/Aiza/etc)

From the LA Times article after Lakers made no moves at the deadline:

    >Pelinka said he collaborated with James and Davis on the team’s decisions at the deadline, just like he has on personnel decisions in the past.<

One thing you SHOULDN'T do is collaborate with the two who built this dumpster-fire of a roster in the first place. Just my opinion.

Will the FO still pay a premium for buyout candidates after waiving somebody? There were reports that it would cost 15 million to cut and replace their vet minimum

Hollinger threw out some potential buyout names in an article for The Athletic...

    John Wall
    Gary Harris
    Goran Dragic
    Eric Bledsoe
    Robin Lopez
    Cory Joseph
    Enes Freedom
    Tristan Thompson
    Paul Millsap
    Mike Muscala
    Tomas Satoransky
    Drew Eubanks
    Ben McLemore
    DJ Augustin
    Kevin Knox
    Jarrett Culver
    Juancho Hernangomez
    Kevin Pangos
    Michael Carter-Williams
    E’Twaun Moore

From that list, I'll take Harris and RoLo. Dump Baze and DJ off at the bus station and tell them to F off.

How awesome would it be if Rob, pissed off at Lebron for ruining his roster, signs Enes Kanter Freedom? I would be so happy. Dude has been all over LBJ for the China stuff. It would make the rest of the season worth watching to see if they brawl.
