They did, for sure but that was last year. This year he’s underachieving and has a bad attitude according to their fan base.

Give me Randle and fodder for Westbrick. All the other rumored or proposed trades don’t improve us much.
That being said, I won’t be surprised if Wall is a Laker in a few days.

What jump shooter? I never saw someone miss so many layups. And it's not like miss by a inch or bouncing around the cylinder. Is miss without touching the rim, on a layup. MULTIPLE TIMES. Pretty much every game. It was never seen. Not to mention those meme elbow Js he takes who touch the top of the board. Not to mention the stupid turnovers just dribbling without pressure. Or the 5sec shots. Or the clutch time poor decision making. Or the awful defense (just last game in the Q4 he loses the ball in crunch time and instead of going back, just watches the fast break that ended with 2 offensive rebounds lol).
It's too much, just too much

I find it unbelievable that you are able to put blame on Lebron who everytime he plays makes this team look like an actual basketball team to defend a guy who has been horrible in any metric you pick in this sport.
Without Lebron we would be fighting with Sacramento for the worst division team

I liked Russ as a sportsman. Mamba liked him so I gave him a chance. I was aware of his flaws and ok with them. Things started bad but I haven't singled him out because we do have a poor roster. We did have a lot of injuries. We do have a coach who's been unable to maximize this flawed roster, who's unable to organize a team offensively.
But man, Russ has to be self-aware. He is not playing well. And I was ok with it, this team has several problems. But his attitude?? How can he say his career speaks for itself? That stats show he deserves to be in the closing lineup? Where does he live? If you are not your biggest critic, you'll probably fail. If you don't even realize you have to improve your game, you're done to me. His FG, FT and TO are just horrible, I would bet the worst in the league combined. His defense his poor. His effort is arguable. And you're saying that you HAVE to be in the closing lineup? On a team that wants to fight for a championship?

That was the bottom line for me. I'm completely done with him. I'm officially a hater.

    Caruso plays lacrosse?

Haha I wish, it’s not happening though. We want off him, but teams don’t want him. Now I’m seeing reports we refuse to include the 2027 pick in any trade, most people think we stand pat.

Moving backwards..Caruso isn't a lock down defender at point guard. Who was he locking down in 20 minutes a game? Dame, Curry, Paul,Payne, Fox, Harden, Kyrie, who? He's a great team defender though. Nobody is locking any good guard down in the NBA period IMO. I prefer a big man over another guard.

Lebron is 37, and he's missing more games every year. At some point relying on James to run the offense is not a sound idea. The problem again is he's not on the court enough, or he still plays great when he does play, which creates a dilemma. It's not going to get better next season, he will be 38 then. He has to make an adjustment too, if it's just about Lebron, we should have ignored him talking about needing another playmaker, and went after more shooters. But then he shot that deal down allegedly.

It has to be the right playmaker. In hindsight, should have went after Chris Paul when he was available from OKC.

Chris Paul couldn't coexist with Lebron dominating the ball either. He tried hard with James Harden. That being said, I think Paul has the clout as a player and a close friend of Lebron's, to tell him that either he's running the show or he's going somewhere else. That might have worked.

Don't get me wrong...I like Lebron, he's an All Time great. However the super stars get the lion's share of the credit when you succeed and if you don't, a lion's share of the blame, also deserves to be pointed in their direction too. Same as last season for me. Lebron and AD going MIA was and still is, the biggest issue.

I never imagined Paul would play as many games as he has since that time. But yes, we obviously should have and could have nabbed him.

I’m not sure how good Paul looks with Lebron. The truth of the matter is, it’s Lebron ball in all the important moments.

Yesterday showed me that Lebron can’t kick it with the top guys like he did 2 seasons ago. Giannis can just go to that higher gear. And I think with his style of play and age - our window has closed.

We are already f***ed. I’m not getting f***ed again because we are under performing. Let’s take are lumps and deal with it. Eventually we have to stop trading future assets because we are on Lebrons timeline. He’s going to leave us with the cupboards bare. It would be worth it if we were one piece away from a championship but we aren’t.

Paul and Harden were close to knocking off The KD Warriors. They were up 3-2 before Paul got injured so I wouldn't say they couldn't co-exist on the court. They might have had issues off the court but either way, they got results. Paul would get results handling the ball which Russ does NOT, so Lebron shouldn't have an issue with him handling it. The entire team and coaching staff has lost faith in Russ, that's why he's not handling the ball as much.

It all fell apart the next year and Harden wanted Paul gone. He thought the on court fit was going south. You have to take advantage of the chance at hand. I don't think the team has much faith in this coaching staff honestly. The two main guys aren't exactly coming out with the "Frank is my guy". stuff. The rest of the team are all new besides Avery and Talen. They quit in games a lot, that's not all on Westbrook.
