No. Because as a 5 year old Lakers fan you’re already smarter than some who’ve been fans for 40 years and are acting like they’re your age ….

no offense to anyone here … talking about LG and Reddit of course. ;)

Westbrook is better than Wall in every way.

For everyone mentioning how we have no trade assets, sending Westbrook and a pick for John Wall would literally be trading our last pick to Houston for a worse player that can't stay healthy. It's the worst kind of decision making.

Other teams see the same games we see. Nobody wants Westbrook. We have to accept that and be relieved of his contract quickly. We know our ceiling with Westbrook, we don't know the ceiling without him

This whole addition by subtraction thing is silly. Let’s say you’re correct and we are better without him.

If the coaches agree, they can sit him and find out. That’s a whole lot better than trading a first round pick for a worse player. And a first round pick in 2027? When AD and Lebron are gone - they could be a top 10 pick too. Ludicrous.

Dollar store version of Jerami Grant

Edit: Just realized he's unvaccinated but he just had covid recently so he should be ok for spring/summer?

I had forgotten about this until today, but we actually did get 2 2nd rounders from Washington in the Russ trade. 2024 and 2028, so they’re a ways away but hopefully that means we can spare some second rounders and pull of a low key trade like this.

If not Holiday, I’m sure there may be other players like that flying under the radar that would be available for cheap.

Might be the way to go rather than going for a “home run” or selling low on THT.

More likely we'll have to attach them to dump our trash at the end of the bench

What does that mean ...and if he's still adamant about not getting vaxed how does it differ from Kyrie's home game situation?

    True, unfortunately.

But at this point while it sucks that we signed the dead weight in the first place, I’m on board with giving up a future second to dump them.

Like if you can get rid of both DJ and Bazemore with just a single second round pick, that’d be pretty great.

I would love to have 2 open roster spots. One to keep a spot open for the buyout market, and then with the other maybe you look for another young reclamation project like SJ that you can try out on some 10 day contracts.

Otto Porter Jr would of been such a great reclamation project for us. You reckon golden state want bazemore back alongside DJ and a second? :D

I don't think DDR would work well with Lebron and AD. He's not a 3 point shooter. I know he does other things well but our roster is set to complement Lebron, not the others. We would basically have another Russ type situation. He would be spending more time in the perimeter off ball and being on the floor in spots he wouldn't necessarily be able to score.

Chicago has multiple wing scorers and defenders and apt 2 way players to complement DDR. We don't
