The reason why Rob over corrected was last years team had consistent offensive droughts all year. It was 3 min of no scoring, at some point in the game, game in and game out.

Issue alot was the big 2 were out alot, I think that should have played a factor. However, bringing in a 3rd star to supplement an injury was the reason why they brought Westbrook in AND, most importantly, he was attainable. Westbrook value was to supplement lebron and or AD in case they missed time.

And THAT is why this whole thing isn't working because he is not doing it. Simple as that.

The roster wasn't any good last year either. I keep hearing about this gutting of the roster. Nobody wanted Dennis back. Frank didn't want to play Trez. Kcp is still looking for his jumper in Washington. And Kuz is still as inconsistent as ever. We tried to trade Kcp and Kuz all season, there weren't any takers, the Wizards said no twice. We had zero flexibility going into free agency if we brought them all back anyway. We just caught some bad luck on the injury front this season.

We don't need another guard, we might as well keep what we already have. Monk is as good as Gordon or Ross are right now, and he's a whole lot cheaper. Nunn and Tucker would be a gross overpay for either of those dudes. We need a big that Vogel would be willing to play. It has to be a tweener 4/5 or 3/4

Band aid over a 2nd degree burn. Lakers need to find a way to unload Wesrbrook for someone who can contribute. He has to go. If he is there, Vogel will be forced to start him and play him for 35 minutes and the more he's apart of the scheme, the more they continue to play the way they play.

    Something interesting from that article

If thats the case we might be able to retain Kendrick Nunn and he could opt in to his $5.2 mil 2022/2023 contract

His health is a big mystery right now

The Westbrook getting moved idea is a dead horse. It ain't happening period. We weren't built to be good without AD IMO. Westbrook isn't a shooter, he was brought here to be a facilitator, Davis was vital to making this work. The big 3 have played 3 games straight together all season...3!!! THAT is the real problem.

We have to see what Kendrick looks like when he plays. This kid is a consistent 15pt a game scorer. And he does it without relying on the 3 point shot. That kind of steady production is a big deal.

Turner is the best fit next to AD but he has some injury concerns as well.

Wood isn’t as good a fit but he is younger and has the talent. He does have character concerns though after the recent mess in Houston.

Grant fills a giant hole on this team right now but he left Denver to play a bigger role he won’t have here, is he up for that for the long term?

I think we should sign all trans women players and have a rainbow as our team logo.

You can’t blame all of this year’s issues on injuries and then completely disregard the injuries of last season. AD was pretty much playing at half strength all season. What you still fail to admit is that the guys who were shipped out, along with Caruso, gave our team a chance to win games because they did the dirty work and played DEFENSE.
Russ’ positives haven’t come close to what those guys were contributing.

They also couldn't throw a pebble in the ocean on frequent occasions, especially in crunch time. That's why we finished in the play in game. Again.. it is what it is...none of them were injured and we still couldn't beat anyone without Lebron saving the day. Russell Westbrook isn't a Curry or Dame type of player. If that is what you were expecting, then you were going to be disappointed right off the bat. Caruso chose to leave, he got a better deal. Now the guys we traded for Russ.?.good luck to them, they wouldn't have moved the needle any here this season either. 3 consecutive games played all season by your 3 foundation pieces? That is a huge deal my guy, there is really no way to diminish that. This season isn't over though..I haven't thrown in the towel.

You are complaining about these former NBA Champions not being able to “throw a pebble into the ocean,” while at the same time denying that Westbrook hasn’t worked out? The same dude who missed like 50 layups within a four game stretch??? LOL! I wish I could live in your fantasy land of reality denial for a few hours.
Btw, winning basketball involves a lot more than just scoring buckets.

    Back here in reality:

    Kyle Kuzma 18th double-double of the season, a career-high.
    15 PTS 16 REB
I can guarantee you that these rebounds don’t come at the expense of his team mates having to guard his man on defense.

He has more double-doubles than KAT, Embiid, Luka, Tatum, KD and LeBron this season.

lol, i joked that magic would trade THT for terrence ross just yesterday, i think.

needless to say, just a huge thumbs down on that.

turner, grant, trent, and that's it from the rumors so far. otherwise, i'm keeping THT and nunn and seeing what happens.

Absolutely agree. No way to Ross or Gordon. That’s ridiculous.

Turner or Grant sure! Wood or Trent are maybes for me.
