Sorry, I think this is a really bad take, respectfully. Russ added to our team >>> than any attempt by Bledsoe to stop this jugglerknot. For both of us though, in the spirit of Rob assembling a really good chance for a ring team this year …. no harm no foul.

LOL Bledsoe is no where close to Jrue on defense. As for offense? Maybe 2-3 years ago but not anymore

I don’t think you’ve been paying attention to Bledsoe for years. He’s not good and not in Jrue’s league. This move is all about saving $$$ for the Clips.

If this is the case maybe “Jeanie” (one n ;)) deserves a little slack for not wanting an extra 35M in luxury tax that keeping AC would have cost, much as we all hate losing him. Ballmer whose walking around money could buy the Lakers cheaps up too. Although, could be, he doesn’t want to pay it this year because he knows having Snake so questionable for playoffs and his effectiveness coming back …. they have NO shot. Especially with what he sees has been built across the hallway, and this guy coming back.

The half season ring chasing doesn't get much clearer.

    No thanks. Enjoy Brooklyn.

That's worse then KD joining the Dubbz for those who didn't like that. He's gonna wait to see which team looks like it has the best shot and see if they have a roster spot available to get a free ring..

    Hypothetical question here…

if Memphis buys out both Beverley and Rondo. Would you take either of them?

Return of Rondo would be great in my books. He could be the 3rd string PG and be more of a players coach during the regular season and we can use him in the playoffs just to setup the offense and get easy looks for other players.

If Beverly were available, I hate him but would take him. He can be an irritant for opponents.

Rondo? Absolutely. If he came on board with the expectation that he’d not be a regular part of the rotation. His experience and BBIQ would be invaluable just as a bench piece, and for depth purposes having another traditional PG on the roster makes sense.

Beverly? No. He does have value as an irritant. But that value requires him to be on the floor. We don’t have room for him on the rotation, and his punk behaviors don’t really translate to off-court value.

f*** no to Beverly, the biggest scumbag in the NBA. He's the one guy i want to take out in a MMA match, bare fist fight, whatever. He would get his a** kicked by a middle aged, out of shape, 5'11 white dude. You can bet on it :)
BTW, i liked and then disliked Rock's post like 30 times.

Not even the, “yeah he’s a totally hateful A-hole … but he’s our totally hateful A-hole now” works for Beverly to come to the Lakers. Hells to the NO. Basketball reasons or no basketball reasons for me. :swear:

Rondo in a second. He'd be good for Nunn, we can see if Playoff Rondo has anything left, and he's a damn good coach (he ran the film room and came up with a couple big adjustments for Vogel to implement against Miami). Maybe just keep his brother away from Russ.

Pat Bev...F no. There is not a scenario in this universe where I'd welcome that piece of trash on our roster.
