I hope we sign at least one more shooter. Right now, our rotation might look like this:

    PF-James (36) Anthony (14) Dudley?
    SF-Ariza (24) Bazemore (24) Free Agent
    C-Davis (34) Howard (14) Gasol
    PG-Westbrook (34) Nunn (14) Monk
    SG-Ellington (24) THT (24) Free Agent

Everybody's minutes should be a little higher than I listed with James, Davis, and maybe even Westbrook getting DNPs for load management. Also, unfortunately, you need to account for injury. I don't see Nunn only getting 14 minutes per game. Lakers should add another shooter in there. Ariza, Crmelo and Bazemore are okay. Monk is still relatively unproven. I like Nunn's shooting ability. He could end up commanding more minutes. I think maybe we need somebody in there that has a more proven track record as a shooter. I know, not much left. I would look at Reddick, Svi, and Matthews. I know Svi is also kind of unproven, but he shot really well in college and two season ago he was 40% from three. He is a shooter.

philly screwed this up internally and externally. and not moving him prior to the draft will hurt the return.

I think a defender who can hit a shot is much more important than just a shooter based on the roster we have today.

My pick is Wes. He's the only one who you can potentiality start. I know his shot was up and down a bit, but I think he's the last realistic target who can do both-- hit a 3 and D up. The rest of my targets are either/or guys OR aren't good enough to see the floor. Guys like Bembre, Bonga, RHJ, Stanley Johnson, or Iggy.

Ah, poor baby. What's a matter? All those self documentaries taking its toll on your mental health?

6'10, long and athletic as hell and can't shoot a lay up. Get ready for the sob story once this is over where we have to feel sorry for him because he had some personal thing happen to him.

Ya, I know, I sound insensitive. However, we all have had tragic crap happen to us, get in line. Either be a professional or go away.

Might be able to get one of each:

Shooters: Reddick, Svi, Sirvydis, or Brazdeikis

Defenders: Iguodala, Bembre, Bonga, or Johnson. Sorry man, RHJ's shot is just too broken.

I don't think there's minutes for 2 more wings. 1 wing and a big. You hold your breath for a Millsap ring chase scenario (don't think he cares THAT much about winning though). My pick here, mentioned it 2-3 pages ago, is Ed Davis. I'd like a big who can play either spot and is fine sitting. Baynes or Biyombo could also be options. I'd rather avoid Boogie and LMA.

Then your last spot is the human victory cigar. We've let Bron do some GM'ing this summer. If he does another move it'll be to bring Dudz back. I want him as a coach instead, but I think if that was the move, we would've announced it when we filled out our coaching staff a couple weeks back.

Davis is a good rim runner. Makes send. Maybe even Damian Jones? I do have AD as a center though. So, right now we have three centers. Maybe Gasol leaves some how and he gets replaced with one of those rim running bigs. I really think we should use one of the roster spots for one more lite shooter, or a player that has the potential to be an elite shooter. I think they could be looking at that because you could never have too many shooters and they still might be trying to fill that void of not being able to get Hield. I could see Matthews signing on with the arly bird though. More of a tradable salary.

ed davis. former laker. it's a lock.

i honestly don't think millsap looked great to end the year. maybe he comes back fine, and i'd be happy with him on a minimum, but i understand if teams aren't lining up with offers over that.

i feel like we can probably leave the last couple roster spots open, tbh. fill in as injuries necessitate. baynes is interesting as a 3rd big, though. he kind of fell off the map there.

Makes some sense. He is kind of a Dollar Tree Rondo.

Always liked Ed Davis. Knows his role. Defends. Rebounds. We could use a guy who can backup both 4-5 spots and who is willing to do the dirty work.

The team has enough vet bigs, plus, AD will be playing center during crunch time.

If the Lakers can't get something from DS in a sign and trade, I would prefer the Lakers hold the last two slots for some young potential studs to develop. This team has enough vets and stacked at every position that matters.

Lakers are not only the premier franchise in the NBA but their farm system and drafting is Dodgeresque. Keep it going and bring in the next Alex Caruso's and THT's. Those guys help you win titles and keep the locker rooms balanced.

Marque Chriss? read on available fa and he had some crazy #s as far as per 75 possesion stats he'd avg 16/11 2stls and 3 blks, of course thats not a given lol. He was drafted as high potential stretch 4 so could be ok backup to AD

yeah, feel like he might have to go overseas and come back. gs gave him a pretty fair chance, and i think he just sort of doesn't get it.

Each one of those guy are worst than anyone in the whole roster. Redick is washed and wants to be in NY or wtv if moved. Svi never made it in the NBA. Wes fits but you are playing LeBron 36min at the 4, don't think it's good for him.
In the PO I'm sure it will be the case for long stretches. With the options available, we need guys to eat minutes in the reg season and to cope with AD or LeBron DNPs. We need a 4 more than anything. Who ever it is

Lebron is a grown man and is a chiseled 6-9 and 270. I am sure he could handle it. Better than chasing around quicker wings. Svi still has a chance to hit.
