It depends on what the rest of the roster turns out to be, but if we land Mills it would definitely be an entirely different look from the three point shooting aspect. Mills and Ellington avg about 20 attempts a game from three combined. They both hit at a high clip, that would be a significant upgrade in shooting and spacing over KCP, Caruso and Kuz. Lebron, AD and Russ are going to create a lot of open looks for those two. Gotta secure Mills first though.

    I'm good with this roster

Westbrook | Patty Mills (Neto) | Bradley
Ellington | THT | Wes Matthews
    LeBron | Gay | Ariza
    AD | Melo
Gasol | Howard | RoLo (Millsap)

I'm putting my MLE on Mills or Millsap.
But I think we want to strike Hield or Oladipo

It doesn't matter that your team is old when your players are mercenaries on 1-year contracts. It's a problem when you have 40-year old CP3 on your team earning $50 million.

I actually think our signings have been good particularly with what we are paying.

I think (hope) we will get clarity on AC when the dust settles. I’m feeling flashbacks of all the “Rob doesn’t understand the salary cap” garbage from a few years back so I’m still going to wait and see if there’s more to it.

    exactly

And the same talking heads dissing the team for being old now will be complaining about us being a superteam later.

Mailk Monk would be a good young option at SG.

34 mins ago – via Marcus Thompson II @ The Athletic
Sources say the Warriors have hope with free-agent guard Patty Mills,
the long-time Spurs reserve. He figures to be one of those difference-making fits. At 32, with a championship ring, 90 career playoff games and noteworthy international experience, Mills checks the veteran box. The Warriors could use his shot-making and offensive creation.

I kind of feel like this guy just throws everything and anything against the wall. He had Melo to the Lakers all offseason so every actia; report he is just alluding to it slightly so he can say he called it. I could be wrong though.

Shot 34, 33 and 28% the years prior to the last one.
He's bad at everything else that we need, not much IQ, poor defense and erratic.

Last year he was better. He averaged just under 12 points per game on 43.4% from the field and 40.1% from 3. He's a talented young guard and with the veterans we have, he could realize his potential. He would come cheap. Monk was in the 98th percentile of corner 3pt shooters. I like Bryn Forbes too but no word if Lakers are interested.

i find it hard to believe that we're not doing something with schroder. if we just let him and AC walk with nothing in return and fill out the roster with vet mins, we kinda deserve what's coming.

so charlotte, okc, and SA are the only teams with anything to offer over mle (10 per), with SA and okc having a bunch of cash.

can't see either spending it on dennis.

feel like there's still three-way options for hield if we can find a team that wants schroder and has what sac wants to get back for hield.

i don't know who that would be. i'm scrambling.
