    I was thinking milsap he'd probably be a better backup to AD then Gay...altho I like Rudy. I want him or melo to fill out the other 3/4.

    I don't feel.good about Baze potentially being our starting SG.....I'd take Danny then Malik who's realistic....n of course #1 DeMar if he wants the mle.

    Well we need to break down where the value of AD comes from and what we lose when he is out. It's his all world defence, while being able to pull down an efficient 20-25 points. In a vacuum no-one person is going to replace that combo.

    However we can do it as a team. The defence can be backed up by Dwight and Ariza. Dwight for the Cs & large PFs with Ariza for the big SFs and fast PFs. His 20-25 points can come from Lebron and hopefully one of Melo/Gay (I'd like both). Gay would be a pretty decent backup for AD in general, with decent defence and stable offence.

    Lebron probably starts at the 4 if AD is out for an extended period.

    Absolutely, he played incredible in the playoffs - like a legit star. He shot 41% on 7.5 attempts from 3. Averaged a cool 18 points on 60% EFG with excellent defence and ran the team well. Averaged 22/4/4 after Kawhi went down for 8 straight games. He seems like an ideal Westbrook backup and gives us another 40% 3pt shooter.

    With him we could roll out a:

    Westbrook
    Reggie
    Shooter (Green/Ellington/Bazemore/Melo/Gay)
    Lebron
    AD

    Talent wins championships after all.

    EDIT: I think this is highly unlikely to happen. He'll get something more from a Denver or C Bags or Clippers.
