2019-20 dwight was awesome. totally redeemed himself after the disaster that was 12-13 and his defense on jokic in the WCF was key to the lakers advancing

Maybe now, or at the end of BI's time with the Lakers. But compare their 2nd years, esp post All Star Break. AR scores more than BI did, on better efficiency and getting to the line more. Austin comin'.

Yea that's what I said but I don't think reeves is a player whom will ever be able to do that

He already plays bigger than his size. He's a SG, but Lakers play him as a small ball SF (too much imo). He has already dominated at times this season, and he's gonna do it a lot more next year.

BI's a better #2 (half #1 scorer) than reaves. you can't just dump the ball to reaves and expect him to get a bucket against the other team's top defender. for the league's top scorers, you can.

and...this is ok. reaves will make 1/3 of ingram's salary next year and was undrafted instead of a #2 overall pick.

Never say never though. Bronny could blow up at USC, and get drafted by the Pelicans next season. Lebron and a future FRP is workable for Brandon for me.

I wonder if Lakers will look into trading #17 for a first-round pick in 2024. Bronny is currently slated to go #47, but I am sure he would go much higher. If Lakers could get a pick next year in the 15-20 range, I think that would be solid. As it stands, Lakers would have to pay the #17 pick $3,033,500. By comparison, the minimum contract for an undrafted rookie free agent is $1,102,929. That 2 million or so could make a big difference in next years payroll. For example, we could give Dennis the TPMLE instead of seeing if he would take 5M.

I’m going to be surprised if we make a pick at 17, tbh.

That would be a good way for us to stay under the super max, and give us a shot at Bronny for next year. What kind of deal do you think we would make if we trade the pick?

Lebron will be 40 at the end of his contract. I don't think we are seriously concerned about what a 40 year old Lebron wants TBH.
