wow. i mean, yes, eff dillon brooks and all, but i have to believe there's more to the story if they're just refusing to have him back, right?

right--maybe not this exact thing, but something that we don't know about. because i don't think trying to scapegoat him for the series loss or the culture or whatever holds much water. it takes a village.

I think the Grizz are being too harsh. It’s not he brandished a firearm in a strip club or tried to fight a juvenile over a pickup basketball game.

Do I care what the exact reasoning is with this FO move??

Not really, simply think this is poetic justice.

Look folks, what we saw was just the tip of the iceberg, there has to be other stuff going on in the locker room and they clearly believe this team lacks maturity. My guess is they believe he is setting that tone and they want that tone to get out of their culture.

I don't think they are blaming the loss on him, I think they are blaming their culture on him. This will serve as an example to the rest of the guys, cut this s*** out!!

    I kind of love it!

Fantastic news! Dillon Brooks probably cost himself millions with the idiotic way he acted in our series. So dumb.

They should not bring him back, he isn't that good. And, yes, Bron ended him... if it wasn't clear before the series. But he just had to talk trash and then not show up for the press conference.

Yeah thanks...I knew that the it had something to do with the tax apron, and some kind of hardcap. If I'm Rob, I'm running everybody back that we have options on. Austin, Rui, D'Angelo, Malik and Mo. That gives us maximum flexibility for trade scenarios, and with Bron, AD, Jarred, Max, Wenyen, draft pick, and mini MLE..the roster is pretty much set. 3 spots open, I'd try to sign Stanley back and make it two.

I'm not saying that this a Championship contender....yet. I do think that we get past Golden State, it's depends on our injury situation in the next round afterwards.

Sounds like the team just made it personal. And that tells me there is plenty we don't know.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. How's that for a wake up to reality for you? That's a open hand slap across the face in public to an ex who doesn't want you any more and isn't afraid to tell everyone why. Buyer beware.

Brooks will find work somewhere, he's a bigger Pat Bev. The trash talk outweighs his game true, but he's a role player not a star. He does have some defensive ability and versatility though. He will be sought after by a defensive minded team. That edge cuts both ways, it can inspire your teammates, but you better be prepared for the smoke that comes with it.

From a purely Lakers perspective, Brooks could be the canary in the coal mine. He swung an missed against the Warriors last season, and they won a chip. Failed miserably at again going after Lebron. Perhaps history will repeat itself.

Your sig has that never get tired of looking at quality like some others here. What's funny to me when I saw him (didn't hear him with being mic'd up till later, and read what he actually said) ...... mouth those words I only picked up on the "M" sound at the end. Knowing he had tons of friends and family in the crowd my first guess was he was looking to where his mom was seated and saying something .... recognizing her role in him being there in that moment, having been the baller she was.
