lol. thompson has basically been begging the lakers to sign him all season

why not ibaka or boogie? both are far better than those two

I think they worked out Cousins earlier so he’s out if they didn’t sign him, then. Ibaka might be waiting for a sure fire playoff team

Boogie is so washed I don’t know why people keep asking about him. The team definitely needs to sign a C though.

Tristan Thompson was never very good but he was still posting the same type of numbers per 15mins that he did back in Cleveland, when he played last year for Sac.

    He will do.

I'd actually give Thompson a try if he wants to play for us. He'd fit well and seems to be in good shape. I mean, he's capable of giving us solid 15 minutes, scoring around 6-7 points, with 4-5 rebounds and shooting over 50% from the field, so... that's not bad at all as an insurance. IIRC he's a bad FT shooter but beggars can't be choosers. He's still relatively young and while he's not super tall, he's physically strong and plays bigger than he is ,right?

it's weird to me that ham would cite morale concerns a few days ago and then we'd sign tristan thompson. if we were going to sign another center, it should have been when bamba went down. the longer the delay, the more problematic it becomes, imo.

Not hating on Darvin any more since the days of starting Beverley and Schroeder together no matter how much taller the opposition was are in the rear view mirror ..... but since he got here what he has said/preached and what he has actually done have often not been true to one another.

This is still pi$$ing me off that they let Huff just walk out the door.
This organization does some really dumb stuff. It’s the most obvious things that they continually whiff on.
It’s okay because they like LeBron at C and he’s going to back any week now.
Pretending now to be interested in washed up bigs is just an affront to my intelligence.

Sounds personal to throw Rob under the bus like that. The Lakers handle stuff professionally and just don’t say stuff like that for public consumption.

Good. They sucked with him and he's just going to clog up their paint with Gobert in there too.

When is Edwards back? Still cannot believe they beat the KNICKS on the f***ing road without ANT.

Hard to say...they were 10-11 with him, 26-26 without him. Hate to see any team we are fighting for a playoff spot, adding that level of talent.

we just have to hope his return disrupts some stuff enough to drop a couple games they wouldn't have otherwise.

I think them getting KAT back vs us getting LeBron back is a bit different because KAT and Gobert do not play well together, versus LeBron is basically a plug and play with the roster we have. I would expect that the Wolves might drop a game or two re-integrating him, whereas we're more likely to win a game that LeBron returns in because he raises our ceiling by a lot (and we've been historically bad in the non-LeBron minutes).
