again, i get it--sucks to lose literally every game against them. but if you told me that when kawhi played us to join them, they'd be basically undefeated against us, but we'd have a ring and they'd be perennial also-rans...i'd laugh and laugh.

same with dragic: we could totally use him, but ham probably can't be trusted not play him at sf. again, not even half-joking.

LOL. Of course. We need a ballhandler. Not.

We need a non-brain-dead coach to run some plays. Your best 3pth shooter is 3/6 and just scored a great momentum shifting 3. And then he can't get a shot off for the next 5 minutes of the game.

Brain-dead coaching. No amount of midget PGs is going to fix that. It will only make it worse, as he will start 3 of them.

I mean yeah there are coaching issues here… but when the only healthy PG on your roster is a veteran minimum signing, you’re not going to have a good time. You make it seem like Darvin Ham from the sidelines can simply “draw up a play” to get Beasley open looks, even though he only has one actual ball handler on the court.

I think we legitimately DO need another ball handler on the roster for depth purposes. Reaves has decent handles for a SG, but not good enough to reliably bring the ball up the court and set the offense. If Schroder’s ankle injury ended up being as bad as DLo’s and kept him out a few games, we’d be getting blown out.

Now I don’t think Kemba is the answer. But I’m also not sure who else on the market fits the bill. And I also don’t see any issue in working out Kemba. For the umpteenth time, we workout free agents all the time and it doesn’t mean we’re actually signing them; it’s doing due diligence and maintaining relationships with agencies.

If we don’t think we are going to get DLO back anytime soon then we definitely could use another ball handler

It's dangerous as hell in Memphis though. Isn't Tennessee an open carry state? They love Ja though, that altercation with the teenager happened over the summer. I'm not sure why it's portrayed as some recent news. His Twitter followers are going to love it, but NO, that's not a good PR look for the league.

Would have liked him as another ball handler after watching last night's game but makes sense he'd go to a contender.

On the same day as Pau Gasol’s jersey retirement, we now have extra reason to be thankful to the Grizzlies!

It’s a right to own and use a firearm as an American citizen.
If you don’t like it, move somewhere else.
Go do your history research into what happens in a country after this right is removed from its citizens: spoiler alert- it never ends well for those of us who aren’t in control.

probably because the NBA doesn't want their players showing off guns on a public platform? maybe nothing would've happened if he was still in TN with their gun laws, but they were in denver
