Things that could be in play right now:

Lakers till trying to get Hield. Then, maybe Mills, Green, or Porter.

 

Yeah we need AB to chase point guards after losing both AC and KCP

 

Maybe..Schroder is the key...Washington or New Orleans depends on Dinwiddie

 

3 max superstars means most of the rest of the roster has to be minimum contract level guys.

Westbrook softens the blow of losing Caruso for sure. Paying Caruso nearly 10 mil is the same as 4 min level ring chasing vets. It’s a trade off you basically have to make.

but we have lost A LOT of youth so far on the roster. I’m not excited by any minimum level signings so far. The best value is Dwight. No idea what the rest have left in the tank.

 

So the depth chart is now:

Lebron/Ariza
AD
Howard/Gasol


If we can round out the roster with Mills, Markieff, Carmelo, THT, return of Danny Green (let’s face it, he’s the best 3 and D player available), Avery Bradley, Rudy Gay and one more center in case of injury (I am hoping for Gorgei Dieng)…. It would be a successful offseason.

Lol it’s asking for a lot to go the Lakers way and it’s a really old team.

 

Well Lebron will be 37 next season, looking at all that cash shelled out to Paul and Lowry...OLD today isn't the same as old 10 years ago.

Did I just get my wheels spinning about a double sign-and-trade three-way deal involving both Caruso and Theis? You bet I did (Bulls and Rockets retain their MLE, Lakers get a trade exception)

Jordan Schultz: New info on a few rumors I’ve seen floating around: Neither Spencer Dinwiddie or Norman Powell to the #Mavs will happen. Patty Mills to the #Nets is not very likely, with league sources saying both the #Lakers and #Warriors are making a run at the long time #Spurs vet.

It's interesting that Dinwiddie met with Washington earlier today and no word yet.

 

Heat are really opening up the wallet to compete. Picking up Tucker was a nice addition.
