Guys there is ZERO chance Crowder is coming here. LeBron legitimately despises this person.

Way too many guards combined with Ham'atoni seems like a disaster in the making: need one more move

If we’re planning on using Vanderbilt as a 5, that would apparently be a mistake. Sounds like he is best as a on-ball defender on the perimeter, NOT an interior defensive anchor.

Bryant isn't a rotation piece once we got Vanderbilt to couple with Rui. He was someone who proved he could provide offense when AD was down, but he was getting ZERO minutes in a frontcourt group now with the two we just traded for and AD/LeBron and sparkplug Wenyen.

Lakers need a rim protector and Bryant isn't one...and he likely played himself out of our price range anyway for next season...

Denver really needed a back up center and TB is a pretty good one.

Hopefully we're stockpiling second rounders for another move because suddenly we're lacking size again.

I like the Plumlee option or one of Magic's many centers.

Thank you Milwaukee for keeping him away from here. They were pot committed at this point after spending like 6 months chasing him. That said, 5 for him is a lot, since he has been sitting on the couch since the summer. He wanted a his role and money in Phoenix, can/ will Milwaukee give that to him.

Damn TB. I liked him for us, a lot. Awful defender but his offense helped keep us afloat when AD was down.

We needed more 2nds to deal today and weren't going to pay TB this summer. Maybe Noel gets added to a Bojan deal? Or 5 2nds is the standard ask for the Nets and we're getting Royce then hitting the buyout market for a big. Boogie?

I suppose if all else fails we can get a center in the buyout market since we have an extra player slot open.

Agreed 100%, I’d be very frustrated with this line of explanation from the FO because it would show less of a sense of urgency for this current season. But I think it may be the reality of the situation.

Plus when AD is in street clothes, we only have Gabriel for the 5

I think everyone is overvaluing backup center, instead it is what player can we add to a rotation that has AD, LBJ, Rui, Vandy, D'Lo, Austin and Malik....

Bryant wasn't getting minutes in an 8 or 9-man rotation AND we weren't re-signing him with only his Non-Bird rights....

If AD is out (where Bryant has proven he can contribute) our season is lost anyway...

Plumlee could be a rotational player and is a decent rim protector
