Right, that’s the type of move I’d love to see.

Honestly - we should be doing what the Clippers are doing. Have like 10 guys all making $10M+ a year.

So yeah - I welcome trading Lonnie/Bev for a legit guy that is on the books next year, or if they're an FA, we have their bird rights and we can sign them over the cap.

Key in here is getting guys with bird rights...Lonnie we do NOT have his bird rights so it's really pointless to keep him and if we just let him expire, we don't reallly GAIN cap space...

Oh I’m good standing pat here as well unless there’s a true big guy out there that can help us.

I am perfectly fine if we keep Pat Bev and Walker, although I am trusting Ham to get the best out of this unit. Ideally they are moved for a 3 and D but I am not expecting it...

Beverley has improved his 3 point shooting as season has gone on and still brings intensity when he is out there, which might rub off on some of the younger guys.

As we stand right now it still depends greatly on the health of the two stars of course and they have got to get AD more focused. Last night it WAS A MISTAKE to give him a 9 minute break after getting his 2nd foul and he never really got into a groove until the closing minutes. Ham needs to stop having him and LeBron out of game at same time as well the rest of the way...

Absolutely no excuses now also for Ham not to have one of Hachimura or Vanderbilt out there now along with getting Reaves back into a groove.

    1. SF James
    2. C Davis
    3. PG Russell
    4. PF Hachimura
    5. SG Beasley
    6. PG Reaves
    7. PF Vanderbilt
    8. SG Beverley

Those are the 8 you run with and 9-14 are follows:

    9. PG Schroder
    10. C Bryant
    11. SG Walker
    12. SF Brown Jr.
    13. PF Gabriel
    14. SG Christie

Now, if you can get a really good shooter/starter type to put in that top 5 and move Beasley/Reaves and Vandy down to 6-8 then great, but I am actually ok with this 14 and trying to add a player off the buyout market....

I don't think anyone would have a problem with 9-14 having to step in occasionally which makes this a pretty solid group...

Not trading our other #1 pick though unless a true starter becomes available tomorrow...

Got to get rid of Bev and Lonnie. Way too many guards.

It might be an expensive insurance policy, but wonder if Poeltl would still make sense?

Maybe something like Beverley, Walker, and the 2029 pick for Poeltl and McDermott?

So happy Russ is gone. I don't know what was worse --- the Nick Young or Russell Westbrook era.

I was going to throw out almost the exact same idea, but I paused because abeer may be correct that we don’t want to add THAT many players looking for new paydays, but I’d be all over that. On a separate note, Burks or Richardson remains a good idea to me as well

    Reaves/Malik
    Bogs/Rui

Another thing, it is going to be NIGHT AND DAY have opposing teams having to respect shooters on this floor. Just hope their is enough time to gel...

Now if we can just trade Pat Bev for a bag of chips & a diet coke, I'm all in.

Might as well be Ruffles. Line the LBJ and AD pockets.
