I think from Minnesota's perspective, they wanna get something for Russell. They haven't been able to agree to an extension and they have Towns, Gobert, and soon to be Edwards on Max deals. They can't afford Russell so best to get Conley and some 2nd rounders. Conley has chemistry with Gobert and can be a solid floor general as opposed to the score first Russell.

 

Let's not forget that D'Lo is only 26 (gonna be 27 in 2 weeks), Beasley is 26, and Vando is 23.

Also did anyone realize that if we get Beasley, that he'll be playing with his ex's son, Scottie Pippen Jr?!

His ex is Larsa Pippen for those who don't keep up lol

 

yeah, i'm seeing that we have the framework of a deal with utah, and we'd like to rope minny in, but if they get better bids, we just take conley. i'm good with that.

Yeah the more I think on D-Lo I'm thinking is it really that big of an upgrade to Schroder/Walker and our guards who get paid a LOT less. D-Lo is used to a big payday and there is no way we are paying him 31 million to reup. Is he going to scour the market and go with the highest bidder? Because that may not be us. In which case the pick was thrown out.

 

It's pretty bad man - Beasley was MARRIED when he was spotted walking around with Larsa Pippen in Miami. He is now divorced, and Larsa is no longer in his life either lol.

 

He most def is a lot better than all of our guards lol.

There's no way Minny should be in the playoff hunt with all the injuries they've had to key guys...it's really been Dlo/Ant that have kept them afloat. DLo is having a really good year efficiency wise...his splits are 46/39/86 - very solid numbers and he's shooting like 55% on 2pt fg's.

 

Oh I posted his numbers, checked out his efficiency and decency ratings. I don't know that he slaughters Lonnie Walker when he is fully back into the swing of things. He's better but not the 5x better that his pay rates. My main point is not that, it's resigning D-Lo

 

Well the problem is that Ham isn't using Lonnnie like that...but if we bring in DLO, he's not going to bench him when he's making $31M. He will use DLO because he knows he'll get blasted by everybody if he doesn't (especially if we're givng up picks to get him).

I get what you're saying though...but D-Lo at least will have value around the league and he's still young (only 26 going on 27). If it doesn't work out I think he can be moved...
