A Russ deal absolutely has to get done now. With this going public, if they don’t make a move they may as well just cancel the season. That locker room would be more toxic than it already looks.

Wow - we get D-Lo, Vanderbilt and Beasley?

And from the looks of it...are we only sending ONE pick?

IF SO, that is a huge f***ing steal.

Getting DLo, Vandy and Beasley instantly upgrades our team.

I would HOPE that we're sending Beverley out too - I don't wanna see D-Lo, Schroder AND Bev out there together.

Better yet, I don't wanna see D-Lo and Schroder starting together.

i'm fine losing a 1st rounder if the trade is d-lo, beasley, and vanderbilt. any less than that and it wouldn't be worth losing the pick

Woj’s wording on this makes me feel like it would be a two pick trade for us

If one of those picks has good protections on it, I think I might be on board. Both picks unprotected for this haul could be a disaster.

Just one pick, even if fully unprotected, and I think it’s a homerun (assuming Beasley and Vanderbilt are indeed included)

We needed to do this trade!! We can’t lose Westbrook’s contract for nothing. This way, we still have some money in the roster to trade

Again, this team is better when they have a defensive mindset- and Ham's 4 and out crapola takes the team completely away from what works.

I have no idea how they think they are going to outscore everyone when they are always smaller, usually older and definitely at a disadvantage with our shooting...

We won with LBJ and AD and bigger guards and usually someone helping in the paint.

Ham is part of the problem. I mean as often as the smallish guards keep getting blown by or shot over, committing turnovers and building a damn school house with their shooting (collectively the three of Westbrook, Pat Bev and Schroder are shooting .413/.324), I would move away from it completely.

I just as soon see all guard minutes given to Reaves/Brown/Walker and Christie. Besides the obvious that all four of them are taller, considerably so; but they all are better shooters as well. That is the area that needed to be addressed like yesterday but I am afraid that Ham is going to keep using Russell, Patrick and Dennis (and therefore taking minutes away from the four I mentioned) as long as they are on the roster. Dude is incapable of adapting or changing....

Agreed. Needs to be Beasley AND Vanderbilt, not one or the other.

Agreed. I’m not a D-LO fan, but he can shoot and if we get the others two while only giving up one first, I will congratulate Rob.

Deal is good if only 1 pick is sent out.

Either way, we'll have players for next year and yeah D-Lo would have to re-sign with us at a reasonable clip.

D-Lo can also lead us to a better player than Russ ever could...so there's that.

    I can see it now...

Deal will break with us sending two 1sts. People will freak out.

Then there will be a report that Utah is sending a pick back, ultimately making it one 1st and a swap.

    I don’t understand this deal.

Vanderbilt to me isn’t anymore impressive than what Gabriel is developing into.

Beasley has been trending down the last two years and is just shooting 36% from 3. I think Reaves and Christie are going to be better than him from next season and he will just take more time away from them.

    D’Angelo is so so.

If we send two picks for this deal, that’s not a good trade at all.
