    From the article...

Smart move by Toronto, offering up Dragic to the teams who miss out on Lowry or working them into a 3 team deal.

I knew Dragic was a mentor to Luka. Didn't know they had the same agent. I think that's probably how this plays out at this point.

Riley being able to tamper is some BS though.

Unrelated... another team gunning after some of our bargain bin targets

Nets and Heat are really the only ones that worry me with regards to the vet FAs. Brooklyn because they're the favorites out of the East. Miami because Riley does some under the table shady s*** to get guys there.

So Bucks got in trouble last year for discussing sign and trade before free agency started… and watch Miami not even get a slap on the wrist.

The Miami Heat are positioning themselves to become front-runners to land Kyle Lowry in a sign-and-trade agreement once discussions are permitted to begin with the opening of NBA free agency on Monday, sources told ESPN. Lowry has long been intrigued with joining Heat star Jimmy Butler and the Miami organization, and now Miami has maneuvered to have two key elements of a possible sign-and-trade package — guard Goran Dragic and forward Precious Achiuwa — to offer the Raptors once talks can ensue at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, sources said.

Yeah. That concerns me about signing him. If he's good to go come playoff time then great, but seems like a gamble.

Maybe we are better off using the 5.9 on Mills. Then see if Porter will take the vet min. for a reclamation project. Ariza would also be a good use of the vet minimum for the small forward spot.

I could see Toronto having an interest in Shroeder. Do they have cap space? A sign and trade could also be done: Hood, Baynes, and the raptors 2022 2nd round pick for Shroeder and Gasol. I am not crazy about Hood and Baynes, but they are serviceable and their contracts could be used in a trade later.

I’d be good with Mills along with a few other guys like Rudy Gay.

Kawhi is hurt, expecting that he re-signs. I like would like a wing with length to help Lebron defend against Kawhi/George. We saw how the Lakers struggled with Jimmy Buckets a few years back. It would be nice to get a defensive wing.

We should be able to get at least one of Porter, Ariza, or Batum.

I doubt we're in the running for him and I may get grilled for bringing him up, but didn't Batum fill a pretty glaring need? His advanced numbers last season were actually pretty decent.

Tony Snell needs to be Robs first call tomorrow for the minimum and under the table payment plus a promise of starting spot :LLLLLebronlaughing:.

He has a ready made buffer for the Laker shooter's curse with a 57% clip on threes. 100% of Free Throws the last 2 seasons:Kaream Surprise:
