Shot 50 percent in the preseason. Good catch and shoot guy, undersized, I don't think he's a good of a prospect as Huff, tbh. But I thought he was worth a look.
like that he's working on the three and getting all the way to the rim. growing pains on the latter, it appears. anyway, he still looks really good to me. quite confident he'll be a rotation player going forward.
See our scouting department deservedly gets all the accolades for their truly great record most of this past decade and ongoing into present time. Yet roster construction for the varsity the assumption is what around here …. it’s all Rob to crap on him constantly, and there’s none of the same “war room” evaluation and prioritizing players from who’s available, with zero input all of a sudden from these same guys? Right!!!??? Not to grump at the scouts at all, but to say our off season was nowhere as bad as it’s made out to have been. Too many guys not available … Brown at first, no Schroder or Bryant and no LeBron playing and shooting as LeBron can even at his age, due to the foot and the bug he’s had lately.
i hate being a rob crusader because i think he's a "meh" gm, but it's odd to me that he gets slammed for stuff he clearly didn't drive but then gets no credit for empowering/listening to our scouts. hell, it's the only thing our organization consistently does well! let's celebrate it! hopefully, we keep the staff intact and upper management starts thinking about investing more in development, too.
