    I think this Biden nomination is by design, both parties are getting record breaking fund raising from their constituents. Trump is money for both parties, Democrats use him as a boogeyman and Trump is a hell of a fundraiser by being himself

    Not sure how Biden ties into that equation. If Trump is the boogeyman that the democrats can use to raise money against, wouldn’t that apply to ANY democratic candidate and not just Biden? Wouldn’t you raise more money if you had a more qualified candidate who can excite their own base in addition to the default anti-Trump fundraising support?

    Gun to my head, though, I'd trust Mark Cuban over Joe Biden any second of the day... I mean, listening to these two is night-and-day in terms of how they would run a country. Biden needs to be in a retirement home sipping tea and biscuits.

    Nothing new there, even in progressive social media circles Shaun King has been considered a fraud for a while.

    Kamala was my prediction and overall as someone who begrudgingly wants the Biden ticket to win (where’s the old puke emoji from CL when you need it), I’m okay with the pick.

    It’s hilarious though. You have the right immediately coming out and attacking the ticket for being radical socialists. And you have the left immediately coming out and attacking the ticket for being pro-cop centrists. It’s like the left wishes this ticket was how the right is portraying them, and vice-versa.

    duckworth was my preferred choice. mainly because it would've been absolutely golden to see the "everything military is sacred" right attack someone who literally had her legs blown off fighting for her country

    but harris is a fine pick. she doesn't bring along the unnecessary baggage susan rice or karen bass would've brought (not that it would've made a difference in this election anyways.) and in the end, VP picks don't make or break campaigns unless you go with someone way out of the box like mccain did in '08
