They can keep him healthy there. Then he'll come here for the mid level when his contract is up. Backup Schroder and finish his career off with Bron. (Not saying i want that, just see it happening)

Just like Jason Kidd. The question has always been there. A true PG in the NBA, are they THAT valuable? Magic was an outlier. But think about the 3 best true PG the last 30 years. Jason Kidd, Steve Nash and Chris Paul. How many titles? 1. And that one was when Jason Kidd was more of a passenger in the title run.

True point guards are great for the regular season and for offense. But when you need a bucket, true point guards just don't have it.

I'm curious to see where Steven Adams ends up. His $27.5m expiring is a lot of match in a trade. But I could see a Western playoff team renting him to help them against us.

Man, Pacific Division is loaded now, haven’t seen it like this since maybe the mid-2000’s. Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Suns all looking like playoff teams.

Warriors, Clippers, Suns, Nuggets, Mavs, Jazz, Blazers....Lakers have some stiff competition in their title defense.

    Hopefully Houston drops out soon

EDIT: T Wolves aint shabby either with D'Lo and KAT.

this one made sense from the first i heard it. so okc is out and phx is likely in the playoffs.

the warriors will be back in, so who drops? dallas finished 7th, but they really played more like a 3 seed and lost a bunch of squeakers all year. does portland (finally) bow out?

Philly seems more likely. 1) Morey could make 10 trades before this one get other assets for Houston just cause he was bored on a Monday. Not saying that'd make a better offer, but ESPN Trade machine is his Playboy magazine. 2) Someone has to realize the Nets won't work with all 3 needing the ball.

And they don't have to trade either, but can you imagine having to deal with those two drama queens if they don't get their way for a whole year?

I'd ship Westbrook to either either Jordan or the Knicks then the Beard to Philly and get whatever assets you can out of it.

lol "fully comfortable" keeping them. c'mon. i know i said they have some leverage above--and they do--but not enough to expect anyone to buy this line.

they should ship westbrook to ny for whatever they'll give you (and be happy) and harden to philly for embiid.

I've watched Thompson his entire career: no team in the playoffs will ever respect his jumpshot.
    It's too inconsistent and he's a career .60 FT% shooter.

Dwight is just a better player then him

Just found out Tristan Thompson is a KLUTCH client. Very high chance he's getting a look.

He may not be a bad acquisition. But his off court association with the Kardashians worries me. Its one thing to play in CLE with rumors swirling around and its a different deal to do it here in LA

I'm pretty shocked. Thompson can actually shoot these days.

Prefer Ibaka over Thompson. Ibaka can shoot better and plays better D.

It's odd, the only team I've heard show any interest is GSW. Man I'm glad we dodged that bullet when he left the Blazers. Not really sure what his market value is as a $24m expiring.
