So I am just thinking.... Bron, AD and Rob all miss out on the awards, but we are in the Finals, and everybody else (except Miami) is back home. I guess it must just all be fluke.....

They did the votes before the playoffs, right? If so, ill buy it to a certain degree. What I don't get is why AD isn't DOPY. He was the best defender in the league by a mile.

Six Klutch clients play for the Lakers. The amount of talent Rich Paul has been able to gather within a relatively short period of time is insane. I thought he was just a mouthpiece for Bron originally but he is quietly becoming one of the most talented sports agents out there. Since he's one of the closest friends of LeBron's, LeBron gets all the insider info of most of the free agents and what they plan on doing... When LeBron retires, that Klutch connection with the Lakers will allow us to continue getting superstars. LeBron is playing 3D chess out here!

Apparently they voted for Executive of the Year before the Bubble restart. If so, that makes more sense because all the "experts" thought the Clippers were the favorite to win the title at that point.

A little more, it still doesn't explain how Pelinka was No. 7 considering the huge jump this team made from last year. Nobody im the NBA had better results in that respect and shouldn't it be the critical metric when assessing GMs?

they're not crediting him for the AD trade, which is silly if you're crediting frank for the kawhi/PG acquisitions.

unless, of course, you're just cheering for him keeping kawhi from the lakers.

good job, lawrence. also: eat it, media.

Throw the full MLE at Joe Harris . He's getting out of the messy BK if he's clever .

Rob will have his hands full , we only have 5 players under contract with all these player options

He's one of my top targets too, but I don't think $9.7 is enough. I think it'll take an additional $5m given early buzz of the market for FA wings.

upgrading the bench is a must if they want a chance at repeating

i always say get more shooters but we all know these "3 pt specialists" immediately turn into trash once they become lakers

Rob has got this. He doesn't have to deal with other GMs.
    :Pelinka Double Thumbs Up:
And oh, I hope come training camp he pisses off these other GMs by luring the better FAs as payback for the recent GM award voting sham.

One legit, consistent 40% from 3 shooter and we are solid for another run. Two of them and we're talking back to back.

Kuz + Pick + Green for Oladipo. Gallinari for the MLE.

    Starting Five:

    Howard
    AD
    Lebron
    Oladipo
    Bradley

    Ending Five:

    AD
    Lebron
    Gallinari
    Oladipo
    Caruso

    Other key subs: Cousins, Rondo

Barring injuries, no one beats that team.
