    Nets are 52mil over the cap and 32 mil over the lux tax and it's gonna be worse next season. Disabled player exception the Nets have is pro rated so not as much as it was at this point and it wasn't much anyways for someone who has had their payday already. Gonna come down to preference for him methinks. But he could go there because he just wants to. Let's hope the LBJ/AD recruitment team are on top of it if it happens.

    I have been wondering about this for a couple of days, so, they are 32 million over the luxury tax!? What are they going to do if they don't win it all? How long are they committed to being that far over the lux?

    Schröder declines 4yr/84m.....wtf is he thinking? I don't think even bottom tier teams are willing to pay him that much, if so maybe justa few more Ms. 21M with Lakers >>> anything more (unless max which he will not get) from.other teams

    I like him, but not that much. He is short, he gets wild, is prone to turnovers and some boneheaded plays. He is not a guy you can count on for 20/10. Can't see paying him that much. Big hit on our salary cap. Those are the kind of deals that turn winning franchises into losing franchises.

    Brian must be desperate for views lol. I don't think it would be possible for Steph to leave the Warriors... especially with Klay coming back next season. Lakers can't offer anything close to what the Warriors can. But man, if Curry were on the Lakers, the other 29 owners will be on a protest.

    Curry coming to the Lakers would be a bad move on his part. We’d singlehandedly destroy his reputation as the best shooter of all time. He’d probably start shooting 30% from 3 with us.

    Absolutely not. Injuries happen as we’ve seen, we were getting killed against teams with size when Gasol was out, having both Drummond and Marc is a luxury. Plus it does nothing for us money-wise as far as I can tell and we already have a roster spot open to sign any 3 &D players that become available.
