Who’s the best defender out of those four to throw at the best big wings we’ll face if we were able to have our pick ... first? How about offense .... 2nd?

If Whiteside is available, I think the Lakers grab him.

To carry the bags for Bron and AD? Cause he's not seeing the court with Drumm, AD, Trez, Marc, and Kief all getting C minutes.

I would go in this order from best to least:
    - Otto Porter Jr. - big wing 3 and D defender capable of guarding SG, SF, PF. He’s in his late 20s so essentially In his prime.
    - Avery Bradley - small wing 3 and D player, capable of guarding PG and SGs. Always thought he could have been a worthwhile contributor during last seasons Orlando bubble playoffs. Would be nice to have him now.
    - Harkless - Athletic SF/PF defender but can’t shoot.
    - Mclemore - not a defender but athletic and can score, he’s like a younger JR Smith but isn’t a big 3 point threat.

None of those guys can block 4 shots a game like him. Vogel would have him lookin like Mutombo. Issue with him is, will he not be a dip****.

i'd be surprised if the kings buy whiteside out at this point. seems like they're intent on keeping him for the possibility of a play-in game, even though they've barely used him at all this season

There is zero chance that Whiteside plays for the Lakers this year. I don’t think he gets bought out, and if he did, the Lakers aren’t using the last roster spot on another big man after just signing Drummond.

Why are people still thinking OPJ will get bought out? I have heard zero chatter on that recently.

Because he was a candidate for a buy out with the Bulls
He's expiring this summer. Magic have dumped off all talent on their roster and won't be keeping him after his contract is up. He might accidentally get them a couple extra Ws.

    liked for stoned.
speaking of stoned. milwaukee's gradual downgrade at pg has been pretty astounding. brogdon->hill->augustin->teague.

get the assets ready for giannis's trade demand, tbh.

It may be best if OPJ doesn't get bought out, he could choose the Nets over us. Nets could offer him more cash.

Agreed. OPJ to Nets, Clips, Bucks, or any contender would suck to see. Having him here during the next 25 games would be huge, and as insurance for Kief or Kuz in the playoffs (and taking some of Kief’s minutes if all are healthy).
