Drummond is not going to Boston - dunno why that has even been started.

It makes all the sense in the world for him to come here. He would start and play major minutes alongside LeBron and AD and has LeBron and Schroder to play make for him. It's the easiest decision in the world.

Watch...Boston has the cap space, they just moved their undersized center to clear room. Follow the moves...Boston needs a big and he's young and they have space to pay him next season and beyond. Every team doesn't show their hand just because the media is speculating otherwise. Don't get your hopes up on Drummond bro.

That's the Laker fan in you talking. If you read what I posted above, Boston makes more sense than us. Start, contend, and still get paid a nice multi year contract. He can't get that last part here. Im just being real about the situation

No...I can recognize when a play is being made though. Boston is in a better position than we are, they have young talent, money to offer a long term deal, and they need another impact player, especially at Center. They didn't move their starting center just for Wagner bro.

dont think they have the cap for Drummond. Tatum's new deal kicks in next year. They can't even keep Fournier.

I've posted several reason...Tatum and Brown are young stars that haven't even reached their prime. They have the cap space to sign him to a multi year deal. They don't have to move Walker or Smart, bringing Drummond makes them a legit contender. Center is their gaping hole. Don't sleep on the C Bags

He's on an expiring deal too. They had a 28.7 million dollar trade exception That's 17 million dollars. They can pay Drummond 11 million right now. How do you think we could possibly offer him more money next season?

In the East? Seriously? They would definitely be a contender with Drummond

It doesn’t matter what reasons you list. There literally isn’t a single report linking Drummond to Boston. Feel free to continue to list the reasons why he’s going there. Even if they sound logical, it’s a moot point because it just isn’t happening.

LOL...just because the media mentions something , doesn't make it true. Or because they don't doesn't make it not. You can't give me any solid reasons why he would sign with the Lakers over the C bags. Other than the media said that the Lakers look like the favs at the moment.

Gotcha. I’ll use the same logic with a random person on a Lakers forum. Conclusion, literally zero reason to trust the random and isolated claim that Drummond is going to Boston.

It is a possibility that the C Bags will go after Drummond in buy out. There is an article about it yesterday on yahoo. That said I do think we are favorites to land him. We shall see. Until it happens everyone is just speculating.

Wasn’t that a purely speculative story from NBC Boston? I haven’t seen any word of Drummond being interested in Boston. When it comes to buyout guys, I think the rumors from the typical, credible NBA reporters hold some weight. Maybe they swoop in, but if I was betting, I’d call Boston a long shot.

Yeah well keep the faith if you must. I've been a Laker fan since the 70's, nothing surprises me. I do recognize when moves are being made, that aren't always publicly announced. Most of the times those deals, make all kind of sense after they were done, whether the media had wind of them or not. Again don't sleep on the C bags, I'm sure you will start hearing the same thing from the media shortly. It's still all about AD and Lebron being healthy, if that's the case, we are still good. If either of them isn't right by the playoffs, it's a wrap regardless of who we pick up.
