Actually, I do think Lowry would be better (than Dennis). Lowry is a winner, plain and simple. He's consistent, he's an excellent long range shooter, he's a tremendous leader and an impact player. He's also a dirty player, but that's OK when he's on your team. I am 100% sure that he's in LA if Rob gives them THT. In that case they are saying - "we're not wasting another year of LeBron, give him another proven winner now". Like, if you got Drummond or any capable center after a buyout on top of that, that's a guaranteed championship. If Bron/AD are healthy, obviously.

Raptors cleared a roster spot in preparation for a Lowry trade... Trade will happen. Only discussion is to which team at this point.

I'll give you Lowry being better than DS, but the question is are we going to find another SG that can match KCP's productivity in the buyout market? I highly doubt it.

I believe so... Again, Rob is very calculated with what he does. I am willing to bet he already has those players he wants but is waiting to finalize something with Lowry first. He knows what the Lakers needs... First year of Rob being the head manager = we win. The guy knows what he is doing!

It’s super weird to me how the Clippers always go after our former players. For years our free agents we no longer wanted just walked across the hall.

The only way I would've parted with THT is if we also got Powell, but just for Lowry I wouldn't do it. You're losing a lot of depth and there's no one out there in the buyout market that can replace him and KCP

More minutes for THT & Caruso.. That's why you can't just "throw in" either one of those guys.
You don't give up 3 rotation players in their primes for a 35 Yr old, ex All Star.

Normally I'd agree Rock, but what exactly is KCP doing this season that can't be replaced? If it's just depth, OK, fair enough.

    Is Rivers better than KCP?

    mid Derozan is bought out...ummm.

THAT would be insane. Him and Drummond and it is over.

40% from 3. As great as Lebron is, he's a high maintenance dude, it is very hard to find players that fit like a glove with him both on and off the court. Right now he stinks because he's playing like pre-Lebron KCP from 2017-2018 when he was expanding his game and trying to do too much. He's a proven role player for us.

I don't get the infatuation with KCP...

Since February, he is averaging 7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists shooting 36% from the field and 32% from three..

That's a 25 game sample size. The guy has been hot garbage lately. He's also playing 30 MINUTES per game so he's hogging away playing time from other players and playing bad while doing so.

We aren't losing much by giving up KCP and I think having the extra $ to spend next season is a lot better.

Yeah, but that 40% is beyond streaky. He gets hot, shoots 55% for 3, then he can't contribute at all on O for quite a few games. If there's a streaky shooter in this league, it's Pope.
