Pop needs to bring back that trade committee idea. I guess Prokhorov sold all his dirt on Silver and others along with the team.

There was a short period in the 2015-16 range when Blake was running an offense from the elbow and wasn't relying on crashing the basket. He was doing this at a MVP candidate level when CP3 was out. I love the idea of adding another high iq guy. But athletically - I think he is cooked. I think he could help us specifically because we already have a glut of forwards. I'd be worried if we "need" Blake for big minutes.

As for the Nets, yes he will make them better, but I don't think it's game breaking. Will he actually help them defensively? They are 28th in defense at the break. Harden is already a good facilitator of the offense. A reunion with DJ would take minutes away from Joe Harris and it would make their defense similar to Swiss cheese.

I'm more worried for the Nets acquiring Drummond. The league should be terrified if we acquire McGee, or if Jones turns out to be a playoff rotation player. A front court of Gasol, rim runner, Harrell and AD probably won't be beaten. That's my bet.

I don’t understand how the Nets still have so much money left over with 3 stars.

yeah, i don't think anything is standing in the way of the nets barring major injuries. they have 3 all time greats and their supporting cast doesn't get talked about enough for how good it is

funny how all those owners cried when cp3 was dealt to the lakers but nothing about harden going to brooklyn

a situation like Brooklyn may be ideal for him. Very little wear and tear on the body, deep playoff run pretty much guaranteed, money to likely make up for his buyout loss, good exposure... Not a lot of downside

Even if he goes to the Nets, I still like our chances if healthy. What they need is more defense, not more playmaking at the wing. How much better can that offense get?

I may become worried if they grab Drummond though...

Ballmer was the owner who did him that way. Remember when Clips went to Detroit the first time after that and Ballmer walked on the court to try and say something to him and Blake stiffed him and ran right by him? Ballmer got that OK whatever look and body language going. Clippers I don’t see either like Cookie.

Don't think Dudz is down for teaming up with Blake again based off this old interview

griffin has always seemed like an a******, and a mentally weak one at that. i'm not sure he's better than kieff for the role that we have to offer, and i'm glad not to root for such an a**hat. join the legion of asshats (+joe harris and bruce brown) in brooklyn.

seriously, is there a less likeable bunch than harden, durant, kyrie, deandre jordan, and blake griffin? holy s***.

If Drummond gets bought out and the Lakers snag him up, its a wrap. Well, as long as he buys into the idea that he is here just to play defense and rebound. With occasional plays for him in the post.

unless Blake has been playing badly on purpose I can't see him being a plus for any contender. He's shooting 36.5% FG and 31.5% on 3pt. If he keeps this up I'll be happy if he goes to the Nets or Clippers and certainly don't want him anywhere near our team.

Javale was garbage, that's why we got rid of him. I know Gasol is garbage too, but thinking that bringing back Javale is some kind of game changer is utterly ridiculous.

Blake has not dunked a ball in an NBA game since 2019. He is a shell of his former self. I would rather the Nets get him than land Drummond.
