Well the lawsuit might have set some things off. Additionally I never realized how many other teams said Kawhi tried this s*** with them too.

I have to say, this makes me start to think about whether I want Jerry West retired with honor from the Lakers. Kind of think he has become a loser.

It's quite clear, though, why Spurs kicked him out, more or less.

I am more than pissed at him. He is the guy who got me into basketball, he definitely is the one who convinced me to love the Lakers. His comments in this recent tape makes me realize that there is no part of him left that is a Laker. He is done to me.

it's pretty obvious jerry still holds a grudge against the lakers for not bringing him back a few years ago. sad to see, but whatever. i'll never hate on him because of all he's done for this franchise

i'm sure this stuff happens all the time in NBA circles. just this time, someone who was supposed to be paid wasn't and decided to talk

I was under the impression that two-way players don’t count towards a roster spot or cap room? So unless we wanted to sign RHJ to a two-way contract, cutting Kostas wouldn’t really do us any good. To sign RHJ, we already do have a roster spot, but need to wait until the pro-rated veteran’s minimum becomes low enough to fit into the small amount of room we have under the hard cap. And honestly I would hold out and hope for better players on the buyout market.

Please correct me if I’m wrong on how two-way contracts work though, if cutting Kostas or Cacok can give us more roster flexibility I would be curious to know that.

Jeebus. When the Knicks dump you, it's time to retire. MKG can be put in the official BUST category.

That's a really strong reaction. Guy was attempting to recruit, and to be kinda fair, things had been a mess here for a while. Winning cures all and it's all roses right now, but we're not that far removed from stuff like this.

interesting that both mkg and rhj were guys i had on my list of utility wing defenders, and each has been dropped from terrible teams.

    maybe i'm bad at this.
