This is really puzzling as to what's going on with his recovery that resulted in the Lakers not bringing him back. I'm sure he wanted to be here and we would have wanted him here if there weren't big questions still on his injuries. Since Boogie's camp put it out there like 10 days ago that he wouldn't be ready for the start of the season .... after all this time.

Seems like we don't believe Boogie will be good this year. I trust the Lakers FO on this one. They have seen him this whole time and know better than anyone else really.

more than the egregious fouls is his snarky little attitude after committing BS technical fouls. I don't want him, not a good guy. Would much rather punk him ourselves.

it's probably just not on Boogie's best interest to sign with us, given that even if he recovers we have Trez/Gasol/AD for the Center spot and his minutes would be very limited, if any.

he'll have much more minutes in Houston if he does recover.

I am 100% convinced that if the Lakers could see Boogie even getting to 70% of what he was before, we'd have signed him back instead of Trez.

i mean, they have to posture on harden. i think they need to lower expectations on the westbrook return for fans, hence the slow leaks of accommodating his trade request--they want to make it look like a win that they moved him for anything (and for people to forget they traded their best player and 4 1st round picks for him last year).

Houston to fans: Ouch! I mean, for Westbrook, not us. We're doing fine!! Next!

i don't see the point of houston keeping harden/westbrook around

as it is, that team would struggle to make it out of round 1 with how good the west is

They could trade Westbrook now and wait for trading Harden during the next FA to a (desperate) team who struck out

they can move guys around to get space if giannis says he wants go there. same with us. hoarding full space isn't necessary and often causes you to be a less appealing destination in the interim.

Good for him. When you look at a guy like Hayward getting $30M per year, BI definitely earned this contract.

Obviously the Pelicans did to an extent or they would have demanded Kuz in the trade rather than Ingram.

Still my favorite from all the young bucks we had. Only guy that I bought a shirt with his name and number. I still wear it.
