Dion Waiters career eFG% is worse than Lonzo Ball's

    I'd rather have JR

Who are we cutting tho? I'm guessing Dudley? Daniels? Cook? One of those 3 right?

I’m sure he would love that considering his connection to Kobe, and would likely give more performance than the others named.

I don’t think any of the names I’m hearing for guard acquisition are better than Daniels or any of our other players. I say we just roll with what we have and play Caruso and Cook more.

Thomas is hungry, and he could give us what we lack when Lebron is on the bench... Scoring.

He's not the same player, but this could be his last shot, and he did shoot over 40% from 3 with the Wizards this season. I'd take him over Waiters or JR Smith for sure.

I don't think IT is going to happen because he is eager and it would have already gone down by now... but it would be wise to sign him if only to keep him from going to Boston.

And sure he wasn't what he used to be, but he can score better than Cook or Daniels and it's not like either of those two are locking anyone down.

i'd take IT or lance over waiters or smith.

problem with IT is that it's clear rondo will NOT lose his place in the rotation, so where does he fit in. can't take caruso's minutes. cook gets no minutes. don't want to sit green or kcp any more than we do. avery bradley (until last game) has also been someone you want to play. kinda stuck.

I hear you, but in the playoffs it’s important to have players that aren’t afraid of the moment. I don’t think LeBron would want IT, but having someone with IT’s courage is worth it than to have 3pt shooters that tighten up in the big shots. And it’s not like our 3pt shooters are that good with defense anyways.

I'm not sure where Waiters fits unless we have injuries - I think it's sort of a waste to get him if we're going to roll with Bradley/Rondo/Caruso, in that order. Plus, you're not shaving minutes from KCP or Green either - and we're not playing Waiters at the 3 spot...I'm just not sure where he fits in unless we're literally giving away Rondo's minutes (which we won't)....it's just an odd fit.

I wouldn't be totally upset if we got him bcuz we'd likely cut someone that's not playing (daniels or dudley)...but then how do you integrate him? He needs the ball in his hands to be effective...

Are we looking into waiters because staff feels Kuz has been that bad? Maybe Kuz sees some dnpcd’s in the po’s?

It all comes down to whether Waiters is more useful than Cook/Daniels (both who will see no playing time in big games). If the Lakers see it that way, we're getting him. And honestly, that's all that matters right now. I dislike Waiters but I can't deny that he would probably be our best scorer off the bench in many situations.

Might be a strong enough veteran core to smack him around or waive him if he’s not worth the trouble
