    Correction - 13M a year for CLarkson which is now the floor for KCP which is OVER the max of what I wanted to pay him...

    IMO Clarkson should have more value than KCP. I don't think his deal means we have to give KCP just as much, especially without there being many other teams out there with spending power.

    if this is true, we might have a realistic shot at bringing back KCP for around $10 mil/year.... and maybe even Rondo/Avery/Morris at reasonable rates too.

    The only team with cap space that had interest in those guys is Atlanta. As soon as they use up their space, we would end up just bidding against ourselves.

    True but that was Clarkson's current team giving him that...not another team.

    So even without another team dangling an offer...he still got that deal.

    Add in the fact that Clarkson is repped by Rich Paul....that won't make it easier for us to retain KCP at a cheap rate.

    He's going to get at least $13M at this point and it's really the years that we will need to control.

    I'd be willing to do 2/26M with no-trade clause? Who says no?
