It is good to get the ugly win(s) cause those are the games we have been losing over he past few years. Thanks for the game post. I didn't get to see the game so getting some play by play was helpful

Team was flat in the second half. On that lone Titan touchdown, Hayden was beaten on a broken play by Amaro. The defense was stout today but was left out on the field to long. This one is on the offense as they did not maintain any rhythm. Overall, we got a break with an inconsistent Marriotta after two outings against the likes of Brees and Ryan. No Delanie Walker too.

Washington is a heck of a find by McKenzie. He hits the hole fast but with good vision. On another note, Denver wins in Cincy. Looks like they haven't missed a beat.

Next up is at Baltimore. This crew seems to play with more focus on the road.

On that interception, I thought Nelson stepped out of bounds giving us at least 3 seconds to try.

That was set-up on fluke play... Hayden lost track of his cover then fell down too.

    Highlights:

It was a 120 yard improvement on defense, but there's still lots of room for improvement.

After some massive ineptitude, maybe the Oakland D is on the rise.

After surrendering 517.5 yards and 34.5 points per game through two, the Raiders' D stepped up a bit. They're down to 476 yards per game and 26.3 points surrendered. This is in large part due to their 3 TOs forced last game, more than the 2 they'd forced in the first two games combined.

Ravens have a tough defense against both the run and the pass so I expect the Oakland offense to struggle again. Our defense have to have a similar outing to keep pace.

Mack will get his double digit sack totals... He just has to adjust on how opponents are setting up to neutralize him. What would help his cause if the d-line could get off and apply pressure to free him up.

Mack and Irvin each have two QB hurries, which is good enough to tie them for 64th in the league. That's not bad, but it's nowhere near the elite level we were at last year.

Last year, Mack had 34 in 16 games. Aldon Smith and Autry combined for 44 in a total of 23 games. Those three averaged about 4 hurries per game, in total. This season, all Oakland players have combined for 6 in 3 games. That's only 2 per game.

    Not. Getting. It. Done.

Huge test for us today. Would be great to get a win against a quality opponent AND it not be an ugly win.

NFL Redzone just showed a great Carr to Roberts. Up 7-0. Just said that when Oakland has a TD we are 7-0. Just saw us have the 47yrd punt return to get us there. Thats a good start by Oak. Now to extend the lead and get the W

and they showed we give a 60+ KO return to Hester. Defense gonna have to pt in work again. 3rd and short for Balt turns into a 17yrd gain. Ravens in the Redzone on us.

we only gave up 3 after that return.

Then we just get a DC to Crabtree for another TD. 14-3 Raiders. We need 60 minutes.

ugh I don't get our late game and end of half defense. We give up so many big plays playing a week prevent defense (I think). Balt gets big plays up the middle of the field (again) and end the half with a FG. 14-6 at the half. We need to do better with that but having the halftime lead is a great start. 2 more quarters.
