.Antonio Hamilton, DB, South Carolina State */** 6', 185 (SCSU Site) Tough finding stats on him. Looks like he played in 32 games over three seasons at SCSU, picking off four passes in that time. He also returned 23 punts for 298 yards (21.7 average) and three TDs and added 33 kickoff returns for 818 yards (24.8 average) and 2 TDs. That's five return TDs in 56 returns. Could be in the mix for return duties.
.Johnny Holton, WR, Cincinnati 6'1, 190# (Combine) *?/**? +Deep Ball Holton caught 46 passes for 892 yards (19.4 per reception) and 10 TDs in two seasons (20 games) at Cincinnati. He also returned 45 kickoffs for 942 yards (20.9 average). If he can become a strong route runner, he could play some WR in the NFL.
.Pig Howard, WR, Tennessee 5'8, 187# */**? +Strength Was posting good numbers at Tennessee through two seasons: 98 receptions, 1006 yards, 4 TDs (plus 33 rushes, 189 yards, 2 TDs) before his Junior season, during which he was dismissed from the team for violation of an unspecified team rule (reported to be marijuana). He runs with tremendous strenght, like a slower Golden Tate. Not sure he can do anything other than be a slot WR, but he could be an intriguing prospect there. Check the video:
.Drew Iddings, DE, South Dakota ?/**? (Possible Run Defender Backup) 6'5" 290 (Pro Day) +Run Stuff Played 46 games for South Dakota. Registered 32.0 TFL (9.5 as a senior), 8 sacks (2.0 as a senior), blocked five kicks, defended 5 passes, forced 4 fumbles, and recovered 2. He has good speed for an interior defender and good pass anticipation. Highlights:
.Denver Kirkland, OL, Arkansas 6'4" 335# (Combine) */*** (Possible Guard at the NFL level) +Size, -Technique Kirkland is big, but he has an odd weight distribution, carrying too much bulk up top. He's not terribly strong, and he doesn't seem interested in dominating opponents. If that frame could be harnessed, he could become an adequate OG in the NFL. Highlights: http://www.patriots.com/video/2016/02/10/2016-draft-prospects-denver-kirkland-g-arkansas
.Darius Latham, DT, Indiana 6'4" 311# (Combine) +Pass Rush, -No True Position Fit In 31 games across three seasons at Indiana, Latham registered 39 solo tackles, 18.5 TFL (10 as a junior), 7.5 sacks (4.0 as a junior), and defended 7 passes. Was rated 84th PFF Prospect, one of the top pass rushers in the draft. Twice suspended for violation of team rules. Inconsistent effort.
Raiders one of the most improved teams: http://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...ed-the-most-in-their-division-this-offseason/
.Max McCaffrey, WR, DUke 6'2" 200 (Pro Day) */*? (Possible Special Teamer) +Speed McCaffrey improved every season at Duke, totaling 52 receptions, 643 yards, and 5 TDs as a senior to push his career totals to 117 receptions, 1341 yards, and 12 scores. He reportedly ran a 4.36 at his Pro Day, but others have him in the 4.46 range. Willing blocker, plays the slot. Looked pretty passive at Duke.
.Tony McRae, CB, North Carolina A&T 5'9" 179 *?/**? (Could be a special teams player) +Play Speed, +Returns, -Size Picked off three passes as a senior and five as a junior. Started every game his last two seasons at NCA&T. Small even for a CB, but McRae was an excellent kick returner in college: 63 returns, 1617 yards (25.7 average), and 4 TDs. Highlights:
.Jaydon Mickens, WR, Washington 5'11" 170 */**? (Slot Potential) +Quickness, +Athleticism, -Route Running 203 receptions, 2187 yards, 12 TDs; added 190 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. 21.5 yards per kick return, 5.3 per punt return
Ryan O'Malley,TE, Penn 6'7" 265 *?/*** (Has the tangibles to make it as an NFL TE) +Red Zone, +Size, -Competition Played in 26 games at Penn, hauling in 43 passes for 495 yards and 9 TDs. He's big, is a willing blocker but not a maulter, and he's surprisingly adept at route running and catching. Much more agile than he looks.
Oni Omoile, OG, Iowa State 6'2" 310 */**? (Could develop into a rotational OL) +Pass Block, -Run Drive, -Mobility Was rated the fourth best OG in the Big 12 at PFF. He's fairly athletic (33" vertical), strong enough (21 reps), and of average speed (4.94) for an OG. He's big, he occupies space, but he has to use his feet better and sustain his effort. +77
Jalen Richard, RB, Southern Miss 5'8" 207 */**? (Special Teams / Possible Third Down Backup) -Size/Speed, +Balance Saddled as a backup RB for three seasons at Southern Miss, Richard broke out as a senior, rushing for 1098 yards rushing, 284 receiving, and scored 16 TDs from scrimmage. He added 232 on returns and another TD. That pushed his college numbers to: 2086 yards (5.3 average) and 19 touchdowns on the ground, 83 receptions for 675 yards and 5 receiving TDs, and while only 6.6 yards per punt return, he averaged 25.7 per kickoff return. He's an upright runner with so-so speed, decent vision, strength, and balance who didn't dominate against inferior competition in college.
Greg Townsend Jr., DE, USC 6'2" 275 */*? (Not likely to make the team) -Strength, -Health Not particularly fast or strong, Townsend has struggled to stay on the field at USC. He has played in three seasons, seeing 27 games across parts of five seasons. He has been productive, however, when on the field, registering 5.5 sacks, 11.0 tackles for loss, and 35 solo tackles.
Ryan Simmons, LB, Oklahoma State 6' 240 **/**? (Possible backup) -Speed, +Strength Simmons registered 203 total tackles, 25.5 for loss, 3.0 sacks, 1 INT, and he defended 7 passes in 43 games. He's returning from torn MCL and PCL, and he has a history of injuries.
Terran Vaughn, OL, Stephen F. Austin 6'3" 315 */* (Don't see him making the roster.) -Strength, -Speed Vaughn played in 46 games, started 38, and is best suited to playing Guard because of his lack of mobility.
Kyrie Wilson, LB, Fresno State 6'2" 243 *?/** +Athlete Strong, fast LB who can play inside with some added weight but is best suited to OLB. Played in parts of five seasons (was a teammate of Derek Carr's) at Fresno State. Totaled 313 tackles, 18.0 for loss, 5.0 sacks, 2 INTs, 11 passes defended, and 5 forced fumbles. He's an athlete, for sure, with a good 40 time and a good bench, but it's hard to find tape on him.
Good stuff T-Rod... A majority of these players likely won't make the final cut or some could end up on the practice squad. Raider Trivia: Hall of Fame Guard Gene Upshaw NEVER [I mean NEVER] missed a down in 15 seasons. Crazy...
