Penn returns, but Cook is sacked and fumbles.

That's game. What a disappointing finish.

BIG miss in this game... Cooper had a walk-in TD that could have cut the deficit to three. Could have energized the crew. Great season that is now in free-fall mode. On to Houston who might not have Savage next week. Cook did not do badly except that fumble and Walford did not help his first series with that drop on third down.

Very encouraged how we have grown this season but there will be that "what if?" thing with it...

Yeah; this isn't "our" Raiders now, so we have to hope for the best and trust that the defense can get something going early. Shredded in the first half today. McGloin looked bad from the first snap. Cook at least moved the ball.

If McGloin is not a go it will tough to go in with a rookie at the helm next week. Today was his actual first pro game, Cook was relegated to running the scout team all before this. Maybe it will be to our advantage as there is no scouting report about Cook. Yes, I'm grasping at straws but it is painful to see how this season is winding down.

    Without Carr we get spanked.

Raiders have added QB Garrett Gilbert to their practice squad. Sounds like McGloin must be in rough shape. Imagine going in with Cook and Gilbert. Yikes.

When the broadcast focused on McGloin on the sidelines...it was easy to tell that he was not himself. While warming up, he could not even catch the return pass instead batting it away and wincing in some pain. McGloin was trying to loosen up his arm with some more than obvious discomfort. Looks like the situation is more than serious.

We have nothing to lose so let the Cook kid sling it.

And us Cowboys are going in with Tony Romo and MArk Sanchez likely to never see the field. You'd probably take either one of them right about now.

After seeing what McGloin came up with I wanted Cook to start the WC game. Glad to see coach Jack is going to do that on Sat. The kid is young and may make some mistakes but I say let him go and work it. This game will depend on our offense. We put the Texans in a hole then they have to rely on Brock to make plays which goes into our favor. In all honesty I was surprised to see they are starting Brock. I think the Den embarrassment gives these guys that fuel they need to win and then onto KC.... 3rd times the charm!

Hoping Penn can go. I want that OL to make amends for their pathetic showing. Blast open some holes and let the Raiders come on...running with the night.

Penn was pitching a shutout for the season on sacks given up. He does so and it happened to be the one that derailed the whole season. Ironic...

As painful as it possibly will be, I'll still watch...finish the season. It's sad as it would have been Penn's first game in the playoffs.

    Bleed Silver & Black...

ugh... we are going to have to adapt that next man up mentality. We know people don't want to see Raider Nation rise up. The news wants to talk Cowboys, Tom Brady, Patriots and A-A-ron Rogers and the Packaaaas.

I still have faith but damn we can't keep taking these damn hits. Next man up
