    Quick snaps:
    - going into the bye week in first. Heal up, keep the focus and come back play solid.
    - Edwards and Smith back in Mexico?
    - T.J. Ward and Darian Stewart were running their mouths off. No Fly Zone is The Quiet Zone at least tonight.
    - we pounded them on the field via the run.
    - little brother took older brother's advice to heart...don't hold the ball too long.
    - thank goodness that interception was reversed.
    - Cooper and Crabtree were quiet but props to Roberts and Holmes for contributing big.
    - those Denver TDs...blown coverage on one and bad tackling on the other.
    - Jano is starting to worry me.
    - defense was stout...held their running game in check and made Siemian look ordinary.
    - taking a nice long breath...shout outs to my Raider homies here.

    Week 10:
    Denver at Nawlins
    Kansas City at Carolina
San Diego gets Miami at home

Oakland's D allowed 33 yards on the ground, by far their best performance on the season. That drops their rushing yards per game to 114.8.

They allowed 266 through the air, marking four straight games without allowing a 300 yard passer (and they've allowed only one team to pass for more than 300 yards over their last seven games). That drops their passing yards per game allowed to 283.2. That's a season low.

With 299 yards allowed, that's two consecutive :h:00 yard efforts from the defense. Their total yards allowed per game fell below 400 for the first time all season to 398.

And with 20 points allowed, Oakland is now surrendering 24.8, a season low.

    Unofficial Stats
Mack 2 hits on QB, 2 sacks
    Autry 1 hit on QB
    Latham 1 hit on QB
    Irvin 1 hit on QB
    Nelson 1 hit on QB

    Agree...

Tough schedule ahead still... Carolina, Buffalo and Indy at home. Roadies at KC, San Diego and Denver. MNF against Houston in Mexico. Mack and Penn talked about how there is still a long road ahead.

Offense is fine, defense is rounding into form. For now, yes, it is great.

Looking at the remainder, it looks that way. Winning at Arrovhead is the one game that is sketchy at this point. When we played them at home, the rain really slowed down our offense. Denver after last night does not look as imposing. If we have success like we did running the ball like last night, I like our chances at Mile High. There was talk of how they missed Talib. Well, we did not have Smith with Edwards and Aldon Smith yet to be integrated.

    Best 5-2...worst 3-4.

Not a Raiders fan, but happy for that fanbase. The NFL is simply better when Oakland is really good. You've got two really young, but excellent teams taking the league by storm in Oakland and Dallas and who knows they may meet down the road at some point. Been really impressed with Carr. He is definitely my MVP if I had a vote. That OL is terrific as well. I like Murray and Cooper. I love Khalil Mack. They will be a tough out for sure. That offense will be really difficult to slow down come January.

SI's Peter King on his MMQB column wrote how a Super Bowl of Oakland and Dallas would be a jump in the ratings. They did point out that we have a tough road to hoe while Dallas has an somewhat easy remaining schedule. The Cowboy defense has been solid. As it looks now, it could be Dallas and New England.

Sight of the night...Hudson enraged on the sidelines after a first down throw that nearly resulted in an int. They were running the ball efficiently and he was upset that Musgrave called a pass. Hell, I was pissed off too. :)
