We will draft Darius Garland. He will be packaged with our 2020 first, Ingram and Kuzma. This will happen AFTER we sign Kawhi.

    McGee
    AD
    Lebron
    Kawhi
    Lonzo

If not, we sign Kawhi, trade Lonzo to the Magic in a sign and trade for Vucevic.

    Vucevic
    Lebron
    Ingram
    Kawhi
    Garland

Kuz, Hart, and McGee off the bench.

I'm saying if we don't get AD. Vucevic with Lebron, Kawhi and most of our kids? Vucevic would crush it down low as you couldn't ever double team him.

Who are we going to get that's better?

like I said, did you not watch that Orl/Tor series? Vuc crushed nothing, more like he got crushed and Tor didn't even bother really guarding him as he just continued to float at the 3pt line

I like Vuc and think he pairs up well with LeBron.

Bradley Beal for a deal centered around the pick would be my target though.

Unless it's a smokescreen, the Wizards have been pretty adamant that they're not trading Beal. Obviously I'd love to flip that pick with one of our kids for Beal. I just don't see any chance of it happening.

yes I also 2nd Beal opt over Vuc, I do not want a soft a** C like that, he's basically a taller ver. of Love.

How do Garland's size, skills, head and athleticism compare to DAR when he came out?

Not sure. He was projected to be perhaps the second pick in the draft before his meniscus tear. I think I've heard him compared to more of a Lillard type.

This is personal opinion so dont hold me to any standards :) but if his comp is Dame than he's obviously MUCH MUCH more athletic and twitcy than DAR....while Dar is 6'5" he plays like he's 6'1", we seen DAR dunks and it looks labored. Dame is only 6'2 or 6'3 in shoes but when a clear enough lane opens ups he dunks like a 6 6 shooting guard. But that is all I have if we're just basing on comps in regards to athleticism.

Yeah. I think it’s talk but we will see. I gotta think they will listen If we actually put together solid trade packages and don’t lowball them

Here's a little pre-NCAA draft kit for Darius Garland. Looks like a shifty Russell, which might get those Dame comparisons, but those are big shoes to fill for someone who missed most of their college season to injury.

I was personally a fan of Deandre Hunter. He's not a flashy pick, but he also possesses a lot of good intangibles that could make him a solid player. Not to mention, he showed up to the tournament as well and the championship game. Great physical tools, shoots well, plays excellent defense. Poor man's Kawhi?

I wouldn't go that far yet. Garland hasn't even participated in contact drills yet, and it's been a few months already. We might need to hang on to both for depth lol.

Can't really expect Garland to be contributing anything this year either.

I'm not suggesting trading Zo cause Garland will be good to go, I'm suggesting we trade Zo while he still has some value, there's a good chance Garland can out play and "out last" lol Zo which will further decline his value.

Unfortunately I think Zo is tougher to move than Ingram or even Kuzma. I got a feeling he’ll be the last you g guy standing unless a team specifically asks for him.

Ingram is the real prize, Zo will be the eventual throw in. Phoenix has been clamoring for him so we can take their pick and cash or something, and move that for AD.

Thanks. Gotta say I watched a couple Hunter highlights and put them up here as well and was also more impressed with his size, defense, and readiness for the NBA. Y'all can laugh but AC Fresh with another summer of hard work could "possibly" give us more on both sides of the ball for the next couple of years than Garland if we took him.

All that said .... WTF .... is there no 6'11' - 7' center type player with good potential coming out this year? Just asking. Realistically we're not keeping this pick. Garland is a twig too and not ready for prime time in the NBA. I would be fine with Caruso coming back. Better in a number of areas including NBA physicality, at this point in time, than this kid. Flame suit on.

LeBron seems to like AC and he genuinely gets blown away in those highlights when AC gets up and jams for instance. The one mid way in he runs in from the left shoulder for offensive rebound and times his leap perfectly to power jam it for 2 points LeBron is going nuts loving it.

Bol Bol is really the only one with a high ceiling. Very skilled at his size, but you're taking a huge risk with his injury history. Don't expect him to fill out either with his genetics.

Both Phoenix and Chicago have been reported to be interested in Lonzo, they have the 6th and 7th pick respectively. I think either would happily consider joining a three team trade if it comes to that.
