What I'm understanding is a lot of Western conference teams are trying to load up and the same names keep getting brought up.

I'm in the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" boat but I hope we're continuously looking to improve the team. I trust Rob to the right thing and not repeat the Zubac/Muscala trade.

We have a big hole in playmaking guard and 3D wing. A few names available for both holes but any within our price range? Do we really trade Kuz in a semi-lateral move? Add another guard to a messy rotation? Who do we cut and risk ruining the incredible chemistry this team has built?

Yea, I noticed that too. I thought damn, how should BI take that. But, Zion’s buzz is too strong for anyone on that team, and maybe in the league, to overshadow. Once he is playing at his level, I think he sucks the energy out of the stadium wherever he goes. The Pelicans have a good young team.

"They don't love you like that. You thought you was Zion?"

Please for the love of GOD do not trade Kuzma. He isn't being utilized correctly and that shouldn't be a reason to trade him - especially when he's only making $1.9M!

You're not finding somebody at $1.9M that will give us what Kuzma is capable of giving us.

Get him minutes with LeBron Green KCP AD, and do not let him play with Rondo too much.

    If we get Collison, sure.

If we don’t, may need him for rose + something small

Iggy would be great too. Better men defender than RoCo is.

No. I'm sorry I'm not trading Kuzma for effing Derrick Rose.

We need to be developing Kuzma and let him be more of a playmaker in the non-LeBron / non-AD minutes.

If we're not even tryinhg to develop Kuz's game...then yeah sure, trade him.

But we saw it happen in that game vs OKC .... no reason he can't do that for 8-10 minutes a night when LeBron/AD are on the bencfh.

We'll have to put nzahir on suicide watch if Kuz is still here after the trade deadline. He's been chomping at the bit to trade him since he got to LB. Pretty much.

Don't think it went there, but didn't watch the whole thing on my phone. He was saying he's feeling no pains this time of the year as he would normally. So he's taking that as a plus and is staying in shape and ready to play. Then I couldn't believe it .... he thought the mic was off and on air was heard saying, "f*** Memphis"

He very skillfully avoided answering any of the actual questions they asked him

Iggy's been at this a while. He knows how to navigate these clowns.

This is likely a pipe dream on my end, but if we HAD to trade Kuzma for a point guard, the only “semi realistic” deal I would do that makes sense for both teams would be a Kuzma/Boogie (salary match purposes)/THT for Spencer Dinwiddie.

I wouldn’t trade Kuzma for a 33 year old Derrick Rose.

tbh he seemed to jump on Max's assumption that the Clip's are better and showed respect to our depth and our unmatched bigs rotation. Not to mention LBJ and AD + he seems to like Rondo a lot, hey if he likes him, great, not gonna argue with Iggy about Rondo. '

This is so stupid of the Pelicans fans to disrespect their second or third best player just because they want to see Zion. If the second half of the season goes poorly, Ingram could easily opt to go somewhere else, even with his old friends on his team.

I don't blame them for wanting Zion in... especially as poorly as BI has played the last few games, but to embarrass him like that is really terrible strategy.

JR Smith shot 41% from three on nearly 500 attempts during his playoff stint in Cleveland

People only remember his stupid pass out, but at least he can play under pressure most of the time.

Now whether he's deteriorated with the season off, or well rested like Dwight is another question.
