i'm not as confident as ox, but i'm pretty sure whatever wing defender we get won't have much luck slowing leonard down. truth is that in important points in playoff games, lebron and AD are going to have to try to guard kawhi. i'd say that with jeff green on the roster instead of troy daniels, too. i think george allows teams to get away with putting smaller defenders on him, so i'm not sure you need an army of supersized wings to beat the clippers. it would be nice to have someone who's strong enough not to get pushed to spots easily and tall enough to challenge the pull-up or drive. in theory, AD and lebron are those things.

again, i'd welcome iggy or rhj or whatever, i'm just not sure it's imperative. i think having another guard who can competently handle backup pg duties is more important. rondo doesn't get to play grudge matches every night.

Wait, he is?! THAT’S why he retired? Ugh, now I automatically can’t stand him, JW’s are the scum of the earth.

He “retired” to spend more time with his family and his religion.

Didn’t he miss out on a 9 figure deal because of that?

I think he had a domestic battery charge against him, and after that, he seemed to be really sorry for what he did, and he retired to spend time with family and religion to fix whatever was broken that led him to what he did

Well he’s in the wrong religion then, JW elders look the other way on domestic violence, look down on you getting police involved, and divorce will get you in trouble (possibly “excommunicated” and not able to ever marry again”).

Don't agree on the first, agree on the second, dont agree on the third.

When it comes to domestic violence, father's, brothers, sons and uncle's need to get involved and protect our women.

Cops are a pain. Eff them.

Divorce, well, I always say, make sure you marry the right person by not settling. Divorces are usually those who settle or can't manage money.

Well if Collison truly felt remorse and gave up that next nice multi million dollar multi year contract to focus on family and make things right, as @Barnstable is saying above .... then you got to think he is serious about not doing any more of that ****. So still welcoming him personally. You don't give up that kind of money for playing a game you love if you weren't / aren't serious with the remorse IMO.

Or .... the divorce went through and now he just wants back in the league, per Barns's 2nd post directly above.

I was one for 30 years, from birth. If they come to my door I tell them to f*** off because they’re an evil doomsday cult that shelters/shields/protects pedophiles, splits families apart, and let people die by not allowing blood transfusions. If one comes to your door, I suggest you do the same. They’ve been able to hide their dirty laundry for a long time, but the internet is putting a stop to that thankfully.

On topic, yeah, I want Darren Collison, the Williams sisters are JWs too and they still dominated tennis. Prince was as well, which is why his music declined after he became one, and Michael Jackson was also, which is why he was so weird and f***ed up, stuck in a child’s mind. The “religion”’is literally bad for your health.

I don't know anything about his religious preferences, and actually don't care. I watch basketball to enjoy the sport.

But if he could have made 10 mil, and we upgrade that position for 1.75 mil, that seems like a good deal. Never have I read a report about the guy being a locker room cancer or trying to push his beliefs on anyone.

From what I hear, he's nothing but a good locker room influence

he clashed with carlisle in dallas, iirc, but i think it was basketball-related. carlisle also doesn't always get along with pgs.
