The Raptors have a glut at SF. All on decent contracts. Maybe we can strike a deal with them if Iggy doesn’t fall through. Hopefully they’ll want to pay Kawhi back for screwing them over. We desperately need a bigger body to guard Kawhi in the WCF.

    Stanley Johnson- 2yrs/3.6 million
    Rondae Hollis-Jefferson- 1yr/2.5 million
    OG Anunoby (longshot)- 2yrs/2.3 million

The press at that time said we got a steal of a deal. Goes to show you that professional analyst predictions are as unreliable as a non-professional analyst.

I don't ever want to see the C Bags make the Finals again. But that's just me.

I totally agree! I was saying the same thing several weeks ago and peeps were saying: “Wouldn’t you want to beat them in the finals?” I don’t want them to get to the finals ever again!

Beating those clowns in Boston to tie or pass them in titles is more gratifying than beating the Bucks. No one gives a s*** about the Bucks. Including myself.

I’d love to play the C Bags in the Finals, that is the ultimate NBA rivalry, there’s nothing better. Plus, we’d beat them, and then Magic, Kobe, and LeBron would all have beaten the C Bags in the Finals as Lakers. That would be amazing and beyond sweet.

I thought that’s what we were talking about, what would be cool, not what’s likely. But, I do think it has a possibility. C Bags are 2nd in the East, I can see the Bucks, them, or the Raptors going to the Finals. Giannis is amazing, but in the playoffs if one team can key in on him for just one series and he struggles, that team has a chance because he has no 2nd star and his jumper is still iffy. The Raptors were able to do that last playoffs, maybe they can again (not likely I know, because Kawhi is the one who did it), or maybe Boston can.

It's a 6 game series that Milwaukee wins.

    IMO.

On topic, where is Collison? Lol.

My thinking is if the rumors are true, and he’s just decided to come back, he is likely working like mad to get back into great shape. I’m sure he stayed in good shape, but maybe not NBA game shape. I imagine he’s preparing for a possible workout to see where he’s at, or he’s taking the month to get back into great shape. Reports did say he’s hoping to come back close to the trade deadline. I’d actually prefer to get a ready to go, in shape Collison at that point than one that isn’t quite ready at this moment. Then again, he could always work into game shape as PART of the roster, so yeah, I’d take him immediately as well.

Saw him on my street on a bike with another guy on a bike in white shirts I “think”. Pretty sure it was him.

Let's say Lakers get Collison. What next? I'm going to go ahead and ignore the Iggy situation for now but do we really have the pieces to trade for anyone that would make an impact at this point? We're missing another wing defender who can guard the likes of Kawhi, PG, Giannis, etc.,

If the Lakers are healthy and the role players hit open shots. Lakers are winning the title. Doesnt matter how good the other teams stars play.
