Didn't say I care for the deal, but you guys were not even reading it correctly

Kuzma should have upped his value tonight

He still plays well with Bron

Proposition, we should start Kuzma instead of Javale for like 5 games this month to see how it works out.

If it makes sense and Kuzma is playing better, then maybe that is the fix (plus adding collison ofc)

    Collison, Green, Lebron, Kuzma, AD
    Rondo, Caruso, KCP, Dudley, Dwight

Some Avery and Mcgee depending on matchup

McGee plays too well in the 1st. Blocks shots, dunks and even makes a couple moves and scores.

End of the game lineup in the playoffs may end up being Howard, AD, Kuz, Green, Lebron. But Kuz needs to do what he did tonight consistently.

Messes up our great center rotation and puts AD at center too much. To do it often. Maybe a lot more in the playoffs when advantageous.

I'm more in favor of the below instead of screwing with our perfect center rotation. I wouldn't touch Javale/Dwight's playing time at all. They have mastered their presence out there.

    LeBron
    AD
    Kuz
    Javale
    KCP

But I understand why Frank has Kuz coming off the bench. First quarter is usually AD's time to dominate and packing another scorer who demands the ball with two other players doesn't really help AD get into his groove. Besides, Kuz usually subs in during the six minute mark so it makes sense for him if he wants more shots. I think the problem Frank has had is Kuz can't play well with Rondo because Rondo commands ZERO double-teams whereas when with LeBron, Kuz gets to roam more often since all eyes are on LeBron. This is why signing Collison or grabbing another good playmaker is very important. I'm not 100% sure what time Kuz subs in for the 2nd quarter usually but LeBron starts the 2nd quarter. Frank should consider finding a way to play Kuzma and Rondo together less and Kuzma and LeBron more - even if it means sacrificing LeBron and AD's time together a few minutes.

That would be Walton-esque 40 games into the season lol but Vogel is a great coach so no experimentation in the starting line up

I'm Team Don't Trade Kuzma. You will not get equal value for him right now - instead, we need to adjust our rotations and get Collison in here so that Kuzma plays with a REAL ball handler and scorer instead of ballhogging Rondo.

Look at how much better Kuzma looked with LeBron. I think if anything - we need to put Kuzma with LeBron as much as possible and Rondo and AD together as much as possible.

I will say this - AD + Kuzma is not a good duo nor do they really complement each other. I wouldn't want to be team that pays kuzma $20m - hes' not worth that. He's at most worth maybe 10-12M per year. Maximum $15M. I think TJ Warren is the floor for what Kuzma should be getting, and Oubre is the ceiling. 10-15M basically. Then, once you lock him in - you can use him as a trade piece for a better player because he'll be making just enough money and still have good enough potential for a team to bite (He'll be 26/27 by then)

Can't cry over spilled milk but man Magic really screwed us over with that Bullock/Svi trade. We could use a young energetic sharpshooter like that

I am not really sure how all the moving parts needed to be adjusted. It seems like Magic made some bad moves, however I don't really understand the ramifications that occur from different scenarios when you move someone. In the end, we got what we hoped to get and anyone who would have had the chance to turn us from perennial losers to a 60+ win team in a single season and refused to make the moves we made, would be looking for a new job already.

The only person who is really going to understand the good and bad that Magic brought to the equation is Pelinka. The one thing I can say about Magic is that he was less than gracious too often when you moved people. I love Magic, he has always been my favorite player to watch play, but his management style really surprised me. I know he does a lot of things right and he likely help set in motion all this stuff that led to where we are now but he is prone to mistakes as well and he doesn't treat those around him with as much dignity as he expects them to treat him with.

When I look at him as a player, while contrasting that with Kobe. Magic was more fun to watch in a way but nobody was EVER as tough and gritty as Kobe. When I look at their personality types, I'm guessing that Kobe would be a better, more respectful manager of people. While I am sure he would hold others to a high level, I think he would be more respectful to those who tried. Unless they act like Smush, then he will blast you.

If Kuzma wants to be the 3rd star and make 20 mil per as a Laker, he will need to play with or without AD.

Adding Collison—assuming he’s the guy we saw last—makes us favorites, IMO.

We are the favorites now. If the Lakers get an in shape Collison, and no major injures, Lakers are winning the title.

Back to back titles would work. Need two to pass the C Bags. Would love to beat them in the Finals in one of the years.
