what that stat and list tell me is that "driving" as measured there, doesn't track wins in any way.

Also should tell you that we have NOBODY at the guard spot who can just go and get a bucket for us

Rondo leads it for our guards with 7.2 and he finishes at 33.3%...AWFUL

Rose drives 16.2 times a game and finishes at 56.3%

Teague drives 13.4 times and at 46.5%. Huge upgrade over Rondo if he gets bought out

Augustin 10.4, 42.1%, meh. Better than what we have rn though. 49% last year

    Schroeder 12.2 at 47%

    In terms of most realistic:
    Augustin
    Rose
    Teague/Schroeder

i'd be more interested if teams that drove a lot won a lot. *shrugs*

and i'd love to have any of those guys over rondo, but that's not happening.

    Praying for it to happen

This is why I think Bogdan is perfect since we didn't get another pg to replace him, but his role will diminish a lot come playoff time. And then he shouldn't play in real important games

    Trey burke looking good...smh

@Mr. Rambis is he still here?

I'm wanting to know if he has heard anything with respect to Rob making any calls to improve this roster?

Kuz and TNT and a pick (?) for some player who walks next year? We know how to do this.

No, but we need a playmaker.

Aside from the Rondo Stans, I think mostly everybody agrees with that.

I think since its looking like we can't get iggy, we should sign jeff green. Good size to throw at PG/Kawhi in short spurts. Occasionally has
    explosive offensive outbursts.

green has been so bad this year, though. i mean, it is true that a change of scenery and scheme can do wonders for folks, but...if i'm going to take a swing on a player who's been horrible, i'd at least want it to be at pg--where we've had serious issues--as opposed to backup pf/sf, where i trust kuz will be adequate or better. i don't feel good about anyone playing pg but lebron right now.

First time posting here. Hellow to all fellow members.

The Lakers don't need only a better PG. They need a SG as well and a center.
This four game losing streak came at the very right moment. It shows all of the weaknesses of the team. We don't have role players, who can perform on a regular basis. Just look at this stats from the last game v/s Clippers:

    McGee - 15 minutes - 2 points
    D.Green - 29 min. 6 pts.
    Bradley - 17 min. 2 pts
    R.Rondo - 20 min. 7 pts
    Howard - 12 min. 2 pts
    Caruso - 11 min. 2 pts

So, it is not a luck of playing time. It is the luck of production. An NBA center to score only 2 points for a full quarter is not acceptable.
Three point specialist like Green to score only 6 points in a half of hour is not acceptable.
Veteran PG like Rondo to score only 7 points in 20 minutes is not acceptable.
The other, like Q.Cook, Tr.Daniels, J.Dudley, Al.Caruso and Av.Bradley are just a fillers, with zero contribution to the team. That has to be changed. We badly need to make few trades in January to upgrade this team. Otherwise, the slide will continue as has started already.

In no way, the Lakers, with this current roster should be considered as a title contender. Clippers and Milwaukee have a lot better teams. And we are still up there, because the rest of the NBA are even worst. Not because we are soooo goood.

He's been bad. I have read some advanced stats; I think he can be more useful than Cook or Daniels.

I generally agree with you, though; what are you thoughts on Elfrid Payton?

he would interest me if available. tries on defense, good size, handles the ball well enough to pass as a pg (moreso than anyone but rondo among our current guard corps). why does ny want to dump him and for what, though?

Have no clue; NY is going nowhere, though; maybe we can include a some draft compensation and expirings?

Just a thought. And his salary is easy to get to; he's only making $8 million. Just a thought.

yeah, cook and daniels can get you to 8 million coming back, which is useful info going forward. the compensation would have to be 2nd rounders. i suppose it's not too far off from the clarkson/exum deal. it would clear space for ny...but why? he's been one of their better players, tbh.
