Dion Waiters has made about $20mm in his career. Maybe he'll go JJ Reddick route.

2 yrs for $30mm but 2nd year team option

Ya. There is nothing worth noting this year. The only thing I think they may be snooping around about is if they could unload Deng.

So far they have gotten rid of DLo, mosgov, trob, tarik, and swaggy. Replaced those guys with 4 rookie draft pics and Brook Lopez.

Changing the culture immediately from malcontents and non-contributors to winning to new guys they can freshly groom and an all star center in his prime who can play in the block and shoot from distance.

Lakers now need Lonzo and BI to play to their draft position. Enough to show that they will be stars in a few years that are in the all star game year in and year out.

Then next year the Lakers go fishing. If the Lakers get 2 stars in their prime, whomever they are, the Lakers will be contending again in 2019.

Clippers looking to dump someone. I'd love to take Crawford off their hands with a 1st. He has 2 years left, but the second year is non-guaranteed. I want absolutely nothing to do with Wes Johnson or Austin Rivers.

I'd also take Mbah a Moute.

It's worth 14.5 million so it's a non-guaranteed 14.5 million dollars. That's how non-guaranteed deals work: some of it is guaranteed, not all of it.

Read it's $3mm guaranteed/buyout not a bad idea Jamal is a lethal shooter and can give us a solid 25-30 mpg

3 million might be a small amount but you don't want that when your end plan is drafting cap space and flipping him for 2 superstars. Especially when we have Dung on the roster who we might not be able to move and need to stretch.

And thank God somebody picked up Meeks, he was the definition of garbage. Hopefully Ennis is next to another team.

There goes Korver... If Miles takes a deal like that, we're screwed.

By the way, that's 3 years for a 36 year old shooter who doesn't look like he can do much else anymore.

The league went insane last season, and they remain insane now. MozDeng deals taught no one a thing.

He'd make some sense here actually. In fact by what he's asking for, he'd make perfect sense. He played 25 minutes a game last year in 73 games. He averaged essentially 8/3/2 off the bench. He'd make even more sense if we got rid of Clarkson.

Korver's defensive numbers have been solid over the last three seasons, showing his deficiencies can be hidden.

I don't know if the 3 million counts toward the cap, that's a good question. For instance does Tarik still count partly toward our cap even though we waived him? Whatever amount we owe him? Or is just that the player takes a check for the amount owed to them and then they're gone and everyone can move on?

Lakers probably looking for a JJ Redick type deal with the rest of our cap.

Tarik's contract is different, his was fully non-guaranteed before July 4 so he could be waived for no cost. Like Tyler Zeller's deal that just got waived by Boston to clear cap space.

Crawford has 3 million guaranteed no matter what. The way I understand it, is that it does count towards the cap because it's guaranteed money.
