pretty sure it would take zero assets at this point. the knicks have tanked his stock, as the knicks tend to do.

that said, i don't see him succeeding here. his shot is a real problem, and we can't have that. he needed to get to orlando before fultz did, imo.

 

as the backup, no more expectations to be a star and less losing equals less pressure, more talent around you also lessens the pressure to produce....NYK fans basically look at him as the main return in that Zingis trade, so given how Zingis has looked vs. Smith thus far in the season and its not looking good for Smith and their fan base
