    Bill Simmons was talking about an agent who said his star FA client, 3-4 years ago, was interested in playing with Kobe/Lakers, however not even a whisper was heard from the Lakers FO. The agent said that most teams have sent their interest months before basically tampering. The player chose a team days before the FA period starts. At 12:01, who calls? Mitch, monotonously asking if the star player is interested in the Lakers. I'm sure there are many stories like this about b**** Kupchak

    What would he be mad about?.. Especially if maybe we sign him then deal him at the deadline. Nothing is off the table.

    Front loading an Iggy 2 year deal would be cool.

    Trade black and brewer and you can offer like 23 mill. Team option for 12 mill next year?

    Rondo is a head case. He's been a problem everywhere he's been.

    The last team that needs that kind of player is a team like the Lakers trying to change their culture.

    Iggy would be an excellent pickup.
